My wife took one of our small dogs to that vet, They gave her a price of $ 309.00 for the cleaning and blood work, and to take care of infected tooth. And if there was any extractions to be made, the cost would be between $25 and $55 as the most expensive. My wife suggested for one side of the mouth for my dogs teeth to be removed, but Mr. Figueroa said that the procedure was to clean first and then they would determined if extraction was needed. My wife insisted on how much it would cost for the extraction, Mr. Figueroa again mention the above price...keep in mind that my dog has lost most of her teeth and she only has a few mowlers. My wife left the dog there and she received a call an hour later, letting her know that our dog was under anesthesia and that extraction of a few mowlers(3) was needed. They insisted that our dog was under anesthesia and that time was of the essence, but when my wife asked how much was it going to cost, the assistant told her the price was now$ 1250, not $309. An exorbent amount that is not justified by any of the above mention work if performed. My wife immediatly went back to talk to the doctor and to confront him about the price he had mention versus the price now. When she arrived, neither Mr. Figueroa or any of his assistants were willing to speak to my wife. They know that what they were trying to do was take advantage of the fact that our dog was under anesthesia so that she could agree on the procedure and then stick us with the rediculous exorbent price gauge. It is an embarrassment that some one would play that role with people, knowing that an animals is a loving part of the family. Shame of you Mr. Figueroa...you dont deserve the DR. Role. All you are is a business man, just like any other bad tactic sales person. Be aware of these bad tactics that this clinic uses to pull as much money out of you just because they know you love your dog and are willing to spend money as long as your animal gets better. DO NOT GO TO THIS SO CALL CLINIC. THEY WILL HARM YOUR ANIMAL AND TAKE YOUR MONEY WITHOUT REMORSE OR HEART.

Please dont bring your pet here! Dont even want to rate it a star. Brought my dog here cus he had a very hard bloated belly and seemed in pain. Had an xray and bloodwork done charged $600. Doctor said he was more than healthy and sent him home with some medicine. Found my dog dead the next day. If he was diagnosed correctly he could of been operated and saved but the doctor insisted everything was fine. Brought my dog back to the hospital and he said he was suprised and there was nothing he could do and if he was suprised he doesnt know what he is doing. Now i have no dog and still have to pay his medical bill which was diagnosed incorrectly! again really wouldnt recommend this place!

The entire staff at this Animal hospital and pet clinic are beyond friendly and extremely professional. Ive recommended all of my family and friends to take their pets here, and they too had an exceptional experience. Their team of workers are compassionate and do such a great job with my two dogs Nala and Chloe. I know when I go there I will not only receive great service, but also a honest and genuine plan of care for my girls. I never feel like that they are just trying to "dig into my pockets" and make money off of my sick animals, their opinion are ones that I truly trust! Bottomline is go there, you will not be disappointed!

I tried to get an appointment for my cat, who the receptionist said may have a bladder infection, but couldnt get him in for another 2 days. Upon further research that evening, and speaking to an ER vet, I found out that when a male cat has a bladder infection it needs to be treated immediately, as it can quickly turn serious and possibly fatal. I was shocked that the receptionist had no sense of urgency at all about getting him seen sooner, and didnt inform me that I may want to take him someplace else where he could be seen sooner. Fortunately I did my own research. Needless to say, Im NOT bringing my cats to this place.

I have been with Dr. Rodriguez for more than 10 yrs I will never change him. The staff is very professional, always keeping a smile,they are so careful and gentle with my babies and actually they love them. The doctor and staff always goes out the way to help your pet and explain everything with details and give you choices. Allendale "ROCKS" am very happy. Thank you Allendale for always being there for my babies, thanks you and Hector thank you for always giving comfort to Perla Marie, Bella Marie, Chuy and Kiria.

If you like spending money, then by all means come here. Brought my male cat in to be checked for a bladder infection and they wanted to charge me $917.00. Thankfully, I was able to get out with just a checkup and the antibiotic Veraflox. You can get Veraflox for $22, and they charge $80. Its my fault for not calling around, but I was worried about my cat, and I know for a male that having a bladder infection is very dangerous for them. Lesson learned.

The staff (entire) is top notch. the place is super clean,my yorkie LOLA was sick with open pyometra she was spayed infection gone and no more problems,her recovery was really fast.If your pet ever needs emergency care, this is the place to go. prices are reasonable, everyone from the receptionist to the vet Highly professional and caring staff .Compassionate people specially Hector, great care. Doctor Jose Figueroa and his staff are very professional and care passionately about what they do. I couldnt be more happy with the way they treat me and my French Bulldog. It can be intimating and financially daunting to care for an animal prone health issues like mine. At Allendale I feel comfortable in the knowledgeable care they provide for my dog. And such a warm and friendly staff - I highly recommend this place.

The good: I always come in with my babies and they take wonderful care of them. Always clean inside and out. The vet tech is so kind, it makes even the most difficult visits (sick dog) a pleasant one due to his demeanor. The bad: Wait time is always an hour or more after your appointment time, even when your the only person sitting there!! Prices are a bit high for medications.

I have taken my two long hair chihuahua from N.Y to Allendale Animal Health Center because from the front desk clerk to the assistance and Doctor are all amazing with my two babies. All employees have love for all the animals that visits them. They all have smiles and treat all owners and animals with respect. Love this clinic for my two babies.
