This review is long, but reading this could save you from a lot of pain and debt. Part 1 of 2 I went to this clinic for a very bad ear infection that they diagnosed with swimmers ear. Once I got in the waiting room, I was sitting there for over an hour before they finally seen me. Once I got in, the nurse was nice and I have nothing bad to say about her. She took my blood pressure then brought me into a room as I waited for the doctor. I waited at least another hour, so long that I had stand up and stretch just because I was uncomfortable and have been sitting for over 2 hours. The doctor finally came in, he looked at my ear for an entire 5 minutes then left the room as I waited another good 20 minutes for the nurse to come in. Once I got to the desk they told me they couldnt accept my insurance because they werent familiar with it. Keep in mind, I have Blue Cross/Blue Shield which is Union worker insurance. You have to work 1200 hours before your insurance lasts you through the winter. My insurance is supposed to work for pretty much everything, but for some reason they said it wouldnt and this Ear Infection cost me $180. Then the lady at the desk gave me a $40 coupon for my Ear Drops because she said it was a bit pricey. I wasnt sure what a bit meant, until i got to the pharmacy and they told me it was $250 WITH the $40 coupon. So overall this trip has already cost $500. I am here on vacation, and its the very next day after my Doctors appointment. Ive been using my ear drops as stated, and ive been taking amoxicillin 875 mg and I know that its going to take longer than a day to get better. I was up all night in agonizing pain, I couldnt sleep one bit all they did was tell me to to take medicine like ibuprofen. Well that night I took 7 Ibuprofen and was up until 4 am. I then took 3 advil PM to see if that would help me get to sleep. Finally I was able to. The problem is now its the next day and my Ear Infection isnt better. Its worse. I have the TV up loud and I have my good ear buried in the pillows and I cannot hear at all. My Ear must be completely swollen shut because all i can hear is like a static. Now I know this Ear Infection isnt the doctors or the hospitals fault, and this isnt why theyre getting my lengthy bad review. I called them back they very next day, which just happens to be today. Still cant hear nothing but static in that ear, if I plugged my good ear and someone was talking to me I wouldnt know it. On my receipts/ paper work for my prescriptions it states to take ibuprofen. Like ive done and it doesnt even help a little bit, so im overdosing on ibuprofen and Advil killing my liver because im in so much pain. It also states that if the problem gets worse IMEDIATLEY contact them. The problem has gotten worse, hurts more than it did when I went to the doctors, and I CANNOT HEAR. So this is why theyre getting my negative review. I called them first things this morning. Explained to them my situation. The receptionist the girl that answered the phone told me she would tell the nurse, the nurse had called back in 15 minutes and I also explained to him everything that was going on. I told them the help I needed and they told me they had a different Doctor than they did yesterday and they would have to see me again because the doctor that was in today hasnt seen me yet and cant make a diagnosis without me there. I told them I cannot afford another $200. If I called a week later it would make sense of them charging me another $200, but it was the very next day and they already got the $200 from me and they gave me some expensive ear ear dops that cost $250. I told them you already had me spend more money than I could have afford, and I cannot afford another $200. I was just there yesterday and already paid you your $200. The thing is Im on vacation here, I have a 2 day drive back to Illinois and I have to drive through the mountains.

Im writing this review and providing the rating based on the fact that this is an Urgent Care facility, not an ER, not your personal physician which you made an appt., etc. Ive read mostly the 3 start and below reviews and the complaints range from wait time to cost. Understand that everyone that comes into one of these facilities has an URGENT need for care, otherwise they would schedule an appt with their own physician, if they have one. The cost I thought was reasonable, somewhat on the high side, but this is an URGENT care facility and a private institution, a business. Dont like the cost, go to another. We were visiting from out of town and had a sick 15 month old. We went there two days in a row. First day the wait was minimal, the second was a bit long, and although my patience was tested, it was merely due to having a 15 month old that was diagnosed the previous day with the flu and was back there with a horrible cough, so yes, I was on a high level of anxiety. As far as the care, the PA on duty, which we had the same one both days, was VERY patient with out child, took the time to explain what he thought was going on, didnt rush us out and didnt treat us like a number, which i appreciated. I tho ich surprised me......she had trouble figuring out how to work the manual weight scale......didnt give me the utmost confidence off the bat, but it was just his weight so I would let that slide. All in all if I had to go back, I would make sure to make an online reservation but also check out the other location in the area to make sure I was going to the one with shortest wait. If anything we left a bit calmer and less questions than we had coming in.

Well Ive been to urgent care centers in the past and compared to others in the area, this is a pretty decent facility. Clean, organized. The reason Im giving this only 1star is due to the fact, the doctor I saw really had a I could care less attitude. He was only in room for less then 6minutes. Listened to my lungs, looked in throat, next thing Im told is you have bhroncitis. Lol, really, no chest xray, no imaging at all? Next a nurse walks in with 3 percriptions and out the door I went. I have had 2 previous PE bi laterally and no imagaing. Wow ok. Now they claim to be affiliates with Florida Hospital. Florida hospital is one of the best places around. Very caring and professional staff, Im not really sure how this is an affiliate of the hospital because the standards are much lower. I would have gone to the ER but the wait was over 1.5hrs long. Anyway, Im thinking the doctor and staff that was at this clinic today cared more about how much they were going to be getting from insurance, over the care of the patient. I dont think I would be revisiting this facility again. Any facility that cares more about the almighty dollar over the need and care of the patient, can surely sink for all I care. I will be checking with my insurance to see to it no services were billed to them that werent given to me in the office. If I find out there was, I will notify you all again. God speed.
