After having been dumped once again by a doctor feuding with an insurance company? I had to find a new doctor. And, quick. Because I had a really bad cold that had just started and I have other issues that require ongoing medical care. I chose Dr. Choi. On my own. No recommendation or referral by the insurance company. I dont regret that choice either. Not only is my cold getting better because he recognized that I DID have a cold? But, the staff and himself were awesome upon first visit. Not a stuffy doctors office that makes you wait forever to the point where you should bring a book to occupy yourself. I was taken right in and into the exam room five minutes later. The staff was cheerful and attentive. I might add that they also have a sense of humor! Of which as miserable as I was feeling? I really needed right then. I believe they are all part of the Largo Medical Center health system as well. And, for myself? I prefer being treated by anyone from Largo Medical Center over someone at the "other" hospitals. Ive always been treated with dignity. No guessing games and sending me home not really knowing what was wrong with me. They were thorough and treated me with dignity and respect. I respect doctors that give back despite all the many cases they may see in a days time. My cold is clearing up thankfully. Slowly. But, I feel so much better as a result of their exact diagnosis minus the guessing games. Dr. Chois bedside manner is awesome. Hes a listener and doesnt overpower the patient with his own opinions of how you might feel or what he might feel is going on. He listens to the patient and HOW they feel. He fixed me right up and as a result? Im feeling better. I had a pretty bad cold coming on and I knew it, too. Thanks Dr. Choi! I would highly recommend patients looking for a new clinic and doctors? To call them up! You wont regret it.

I was in desperate need of a new doctor because my previous one was horrible. I scheduled a new patient appointment last minute online, and when I got to the office they said I had actually scheduled the appointment for a month out, not the day I had arrived. They had a cancellation and got me in at the time I arrived anyway. I had forgotten my insurance card and they didnt even bat an eye and told me to just call with the numbers when I got home. When I finally met my doctor, Dr. Tehranchi, I explained to her that I have pretty terrible anxiety, and that I had come in to establish myself as a new patient as well as for a physical. Not only did she do my physical right then and there instead of making me come back for a second appointment like most offices would have, she also ordered certain bloodwork for me to have done right in the office so I did not have to anxiously await other blood test results for weeks until my next appointment. The attending physician quickly came in to introduce himself, and was just as nice as the entire rest of the staff was. I have only been to the office once but my experience was the best that Ive ever had at a doctors office. I have never felt so taken care of or left an appointment feeling so at ease as I did with this office, especially Dr. T. Do yourself a favor and make this your new primary care facility - you won;t regret it.

Dr. Benjamin DeVries and his staff including Dr. Derek Dillon and many others at Largo Family Care provide excellent services for health care. As part of their patient consultations, they readily recommend diagnostic and clinical tests which can help greatly to accurately diagnose or eliminate the possibility of a health problem. After the tests are complete, they quickly review the results with the patient and recommend any indicated treatments. Such actions can rapidly lead to a solution to a patients problem or in extreme cases can save a life. I personally have benefited from their services. Additionally, the Largo Family Care facility is a medical teaching facility. This means that Doctors who are finishing training for a particular medical discipline are present as well as the permanent staff Doctors like Dr. DeVries . This results in several Doctors seeing the patient and discussing their health problem. Such discussions give a greater probability for a correct solution to the patients health problem. Avoid this office. Danielle the "Office Coordinator" is slow to do her job, rude, and wont do anything until you ask u speak to the office manager at which point she quickly back peddles pretending shes looking out for your best interest. I called to request a refill and instead of simply putting in the request ru the doctor she decided to keep me on the phone for 20 minutes so she could review my file. Office coordinators are NOT supposed to review files at all. She then informed me that I needed to see a "real" doctor who are apparently only in office m-f. So exactly what have I been seeing in Saturdays then,? FAKE doctors? She tried to explain that I need to build a relationship with a primary...I thought I had been? ?? They have sent me to collections for money I dont owe. This is the second time Ive had an issue with poor customer service from Danielle. They assured me last time this would not happen again. I guess some people just arent capable of improvement.

I came as a new patient on Fri. 4/1/16. The women at the front desk were very nice and helpful. They got me in right away to see the nurse (for vitals) and then Dr. Gray saw me very shortly after that. He spent quite a bit of time with me, asking many questions, prescribing some new medicines to help with my breathing issues, and writing a prescription for an imaging test that will hopefully put my mind at ease! Very personable, intelligent, and a great bedside manner! He then brought in Dr. DeVries (after conferring with him) so that I could meet him, and they further discussed my health with me.... I am SO happy to have found them! (I brought my daughter in as a new patient late last year when she turned 18 and both she and I were thrilled with her very thorough care (we both had two doctors looking after us in one visit)!!

Will never go again. Before to come I called them and ask if they accept my insurance they told me yes, after mt visit in few weeks I received bill I came back to resolve this problem and they told me We stop working with your insurance and next time you have to pay and now you dont owe anything. After two month I check my credit report and they placed on collection f...$64 I will go to my lawyer tomorrow and will open charge aganst this office. Also I already contacted another persons who has same problem and they totaly agreed to open sue case against this office. Good luck i hope you closing soon

My D.O. was on the ball. He listened to everything I had to say. He then thought of all the questions I hadnt thought to ask. After words he reviewed the whole conversation with me. He then went to his boss and reviewed everything with him. They both came back and reviewed the game plan with me. Doc then brought me to the front desk and placed my next appointment. After all that, Doc went and called my prescription in for me. No having to wait at the drop off line! Great job guys!
