The service I received from Dr.Tony and staff was excellent. I was late to my appointment because I got lost, and the receptionist was extremely helpful providing me with directions over the phone. Every staff member who helped in the examination of my leopard gecko were obviously knowledgeable on the subject and quite compassionate. My gecko was handled with care and I could see that Dr. Tony was passionate about his profession. He was very helpful in answering my questions as a first time gecko owner and I am relieved to find someone who cares about the health of my pet as much as I do. I also found the care to be very affordable, (Exam, eye drops, and nutritional supplement costing me $2 less then the next lowest quote I received for an office visit) which is very important for me as a college student on a budget.

Dr. Tony is the best vet I have ever visited. I started using his clinic in 2007 and have been completely satisfied with his treatment of my furry kiddos. I moved out of state later that year and searched for someone "like Doc Tony" and found someone close, but not the same. Upon relocating to Orlando, I gladly made the 2hr trip to get the quality service I know Doc Tony and his staff provide. I have now come home to the Tampa Bay area and having Doc Tony so close was one reason I made the decision to move. I have never been to a vet practice with as much compassion and dedication as Animal & Exotic Medical Center. They are truly a great practice.

Dr. Tony is an excellent vet but very unfriendly staff and receptionist. I used Dr. Tony because we had a rabbit which is consider as an exotic animal and he was very good with her. However, always the staff was unfriendly and dry. The receptionist never smiles and when you arrive to the office nobody is friendly enough to greet you. Now we have a puppy and our rabbit passed away so we are changing vet. He is good but not enough for me to stay any longer with them. I am looking for a place where my dog feels love and this is not the place.

I have used Dr. Tony for five years and have found that his staff and the doctor to be very responsive and respectful to both my pets and me. I have taken two dogs (one of which I had to have euthanized last year) and two cats of which one had surgery and eventually had to be put down. I have nothing but complements for Dr. Tonys knowledge. I also find that if I treat people with respect, they will do so in kind, even if your pet is sick and you are grieving.

Staff and management are very disrespectful. Dr. Tonys wife, the "manager", was sent in to yell at my dying pet and I after a 30 second visit from Tony, which I told them was unacceptable. My pet was on the verge of death and the staff could seem to care less. Never going back to Dr Tony again worst vet experience I have ever had. I went to Blue Pearl afterward, they were very kind and saved my pets life.

Brought my headgehog in this morning who was spitting blood and ready to die. Staff was really short with me despite me hysterically crying while my pet was dying. The one lady said she wasnt suffering despite her being full of blood. Im thankful they did put her down but still she was very rude and made me feel even worse They cared that I paid before anything

We have been seeing Dr. Tony since we got our first dog 4 years ago. Since then we have added two more dogs, and have also moved out of the area. However that does not deter us from keeping Dr. Tony as our three doghters primary care veternarian! We live in Riverview now and have no issues making the drive to Lutz, its worth every mile!

Happy we found Dr. Tony! Hes not close to us, but hes great with bulldogs! If youre looking for an excellent vet, that is price concious as well, this is the place to go.
