I used to think veterinary offices were supposed to be places where pets would immediately tense up from the sensing the panic in the air, and where pet owners nostrils would be filled with the scent of uncleanliness. Who could blame me for thinking that... considering that describes perfectly the clinics I visited with my pets in both PA and VA. And who could blame my cats for trying to grab the door-frame on our way out of the house? I wouldnt want to go to the vet, either. It turns out, theres more to the world of veterinary care than clearly-rushed doctors and seldomly-cleaned exam rooms. Enter Milestone Veterinary Associates. Upon walking in, its clear that (a) the place is clean; (b) pets and pet owners alike will be warmly greeted; (c) your pets care matters. This service continues during exams and treatment, as both the vets and the technicians bring a gentle touch and a commendable bedside manner to the exam room. Weve had opportunity to interact with several of the vets at Milestone in the past few years (What can I say... one of our cats either loves to go to the vet, or loves to cause us stress by getting sick. Either way.) During one all-day scan, Dr. Galluci and her assistants called several times with informative, compassionate updates about our cats care. During exams, Dr. Roberts is almost like a cat-whisperer. Im consistently impressed with how she and Travis, the vet tech, are able to make my skittish, angry, stubborn cat feel at home (the cat wouldnt want me to share this widely, but sometimes... he even purrs while on the exam table!). An added bonus: expect a phone call from the office staff the day after any procedure - even something as small as an annual rabies shot - to make sure your pets are doing well and not experiencing any negative reactions. That is such a nice touch.

This place is a HUGE rip off. We were taking our brand new puppy there for shots and got an urgent call from the vet Friday night at 6:30pm after the dog had been seen on Monday of that week. The vet called and said our new puppy had a very serious illness that was not common, lung worm. She stated that we MUST bring our dog in to see her tomorrow and she would need a series of chest x-rays and very expensive cattle shots in order to cure her. We were immediately upset and our night was ruined, we took our dog to another vet for a second opinion and the vet said there was NO way they could have discovered this illness from an in house test and the likelihood of our dog having this and showing no symptoms was a .05%. We were so upset and will NEVER go back to Milestone or recommend them to anyone we know after the distress they caused us and the lies they told us just to get our money.

I cannot review the vets at this hospital because when I called to make an appointment, the girl who answered the phone was so rude and arrogant that I decided this was not the kind of place I want to give business to....let alone trust to treat my animals. We are new to the area and I decided to call several vets with a list of 4 questions. Every other hospital was friendly and happily answered my questions - this was the only one that treated me badly. When you go to the vet, a big part of the interaction is with the people at the front desk....when they are rude, it reflects poorly on the entire practice. The doctors here need to understand this and pay more attention to the folks interacting with the public.

Anyone I know or meet with a dog I talk about Milestone Veterinary Associates. I have had many health issues with my dogs and cats and some of them would have gone unnoticed by other vets. My Papillon has severe allergies as well as other health issues. I see Milestone, the specialists they have recommended and myself working as partners to give her the best quality of life she could possibly have. I have often told Dr. Roberts she is the best hiring manager I know because of the awesome staff she has hired.

We have been taking our Scarlett and Chio to Milestone for a few years now and Dr. Gallucci and Dr. Roberts are great! They truly love and care for every pet that comes in the door. The whole staff is wonderful and friendly, they have a great team. We had to take our Scarlett in today because she wasnt feeling well and Dr. Gallucci was great! She did everything to help us and so far Scarlett is already feeling better. Thank you all so much for everything you do!

I love these vets. They always show genuine concern and love for our pets. When there is an issue they take time to explain all the options that work best for our circumstances. They are never judgmental when it comes to what we can afford, but work with us to solve each situation to the best of their and our ability. I love that I can get an appointment quickly and there is little wait time. My dog actually likes going to visit them!

All of the staff at Milestone greet my dog Bootz and I with warm and friendly smiles each time we arrive. My dog loves it there and is treated just like one of the family. They always go above and beyond for their patients. We have been going to Milestone for many years and believe that Dr. Roberts is the best vet in the area!!!

Dr. Roberts has a magic touch with cats. Had Annie eating out of her hand after having teeth pulled. And she kept offering food for as long as she would eat. Also had no problems with her procedure. Also she suspected an unusual condition of her mouth and the test came back positive. Staff is also very friendly.

They are ALL so caring and wonderful! We recently lost our 17 yr old Westie and it was quite an emotional time. They were wonderful and understanding. They really helped us through a difficult time.They are Top Notch!!! We now have a new puppy and they have been incredible! We wouldnt take her any where else.
