I have been a client/patient of Dr. Nathan M. Mayo since the 70s and can honestly say that if you are looking for a competent, pain-free dental experience, then Dr. Mayo is your guy. Super clean facilities, incredibly kind staff and a dentist who knows what hes doing and does it efficiently. Although we have moved "out of town", hubby and I still think its worth the 2-hour drive to continue seeing Dr. Mayo exclusively as our dentist. Another great thing about this dental office is that you do NOT have to sit and wait in the waiting area very long ... they are prompt with their appointments, send reminders when your next appt is coming up, and even keep up with your birthday. Now THATS service WITH A HEALTHY SMILE.

Ive been to a few other dentists that had "specials" on services and recommended fillings at that time even though I had never had a cavity.They really wanted to perform whatever service they could. After getting a second opinion from Dr. Mayo we watched the suspected teeth for almost 10 yrs before they needed to be addressed. At that point the procedure was performed and It turned out perfect. I couldnt be happier with the experience and results . Dr.Mayo is an excellent, down to earth guy and his staff is extremely friendly as well. He also has some of the latest state of the art devices for examining teeth, just bring your own music :)

Dr. Mayo called after his business hours today just to check on me to make sure I wasnt in too much pain following todays procedure. My mother-in-law and grandmother have seen him for years and I can see why he came so highly recommended. He takes time to make sure youre numb before he starts work. His assistant even uses a cheek vibration tool to keep you from feeling any pain when the anesthetic needle is inserted - I was impressed! The laughing gas definitely helps and is included with the services. He also provides headphones for music to drown out the sound of the drill. You rock, Dr. Mayo! Thank you :)

At my age I have been to a few dentists in my lifetime but I know I saved the best for last. Wanting to find a dentist in Maitland Fl., I checked out the reviews and made an appointment. I was spot on. Dr. Mayos office is clean and friendly. The staff are wonderful. Dr. Mayo evaluated my teeth and took xrays and then told me to come back when I needed him. Most dentists usually push a cleaning. Not Dr. Mayo. He gave me a few pointers for taking care of my teeth which I greatly appreciate. If youre looking for a dentist, call Dr. Mayos office and you wont be disappointed.

Its really something when you can rate a dentist with "Loved it" (the meaning of 5 stars). My wife and I have been going to Nathan since 1980. My previous dentist filled 5 of my teeth in one day. I suspect that some of those fillings were unnecessary. Nathan put a "watch" on a couple of my teeth for more than 20 years before he did the first filling. And I understand that his record for reliability of crowns is almost perfect. I hope he doesnt retire any time soon, but I think he loves his work so much that he may never retire.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mayos for the past 30 years. He is fantastic. I had had a bad experience with a different dentist and I was scared to death to go to a dentist. When I finally decided to go back to see a dentist I had heard that Dr Mayo was very good. So I made an appointment and sure enough he was great. Been going to him ever since. I now live in Helen, Ga and I travel down there for my appointments. Thank you Dr. Mayo for all the time you have spent with me to make my trip to the dentist a great experience.

I have been with Dr. Mayo for over twenty years and have never been disappointed with him, his staff or services. Routine cleanings are always pleasant and easy to schedule. Any non routine work needed is always explained in great detail including drawings, models and other alternatives to take. He is a true professional but also just a hoot to be around! He always takes a little time to chat and usually shares a great youtube video or movie review :-)

Amazed! I asked Dr. Mayo to repair my very worn and stained previously bonded front teeth. I was amazed at how much work he put into the details of each tooth. Dr. Mayo and his assistant Lyn went to great lengths to be sure the color was correct and that my teeth did not resemble "manufactured" teeth. He crafted my teeth with the touch of an artist. Always great. Dr. Mayo and his staff are always supportive, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. I never feel like he is going to suggest that I get expensive dental work that I should proceed with. I feel his pricing is reasonable when I really need something. I have been seeing him for at least 20 years. Ad a Nurse Practitioner, I have made recommendations to my friends and patients as an excellent provider.

Have been going to Nathan and Karen for almost 20 years. Not sure what I would do if either one of them retired. Fortunately, Nathan has no plan to retire until at least 85 years old, and I think Karen is pledged to stay there until Nathan wears out. Both of them are incredible professionals, and I am thankful for the day that I became a patient of theirs.

Just had a teeth cleaning and Karen noticed a loose tooth. She X-rayed it and we found a problem. Dr. Mayo took a look and said I should see him next week, hes going to ponder alternative treatments and decide what would be the best course. Ive been going to him since 2002 and he is a very good dentist, a caring person and pretty darned funny sometimes :-)

Just had my Dr. teeth by our new part time hygienist, Laura. She did a very thorough job, didnt hurt me, and gave me a good report. Even we dental types have to get looked at from time to time. Give her a try on your next visit. In addition to me signing her check each week, she also now has my "Dentist Seal of Approval"
