I do not recommend this office at ALL. Went there at the end of April 2015 for a broken crown and a broken filling. Many things happened WRONG here. (1) The bill was wrong right off the bat. I had a $800 credit that was never taken into account. Had to have the fixed. Took about 5 days. (2) One day after temps were put in, the new temp broke. Had to get it fixed. (3) Next day, temp broke again. Had to get it fixed. (4) Next day, temp broke AGAIN. Assistant said the impression was done wrong in the first place. Had it fixed AGAIN. (5) Had an appt two weeks after my first visit to get crowns. In the meantime, the temp started causing major gum irritation cause it was bridged and poorly fitted. (6) When the appt time came due for the crowns, I got a phone call that the crowns didnt come in, so I had to make an appt 5 days later cause I was going on vacation. By the time I got to my appt to put on the new crowns, my gums were irritated so bad I was ready to jump out of my skin. (7) Crowns did not fit properly cause the impression was bad from my 2nd visit there. I told them to put the crowns on the best they could cause I could not take the bridge anymore from the temps. We agreed that I would come back and have the crown impression done again. (8) A week and a half later, I came back to have the impressions redone. The dentist looked at me and said, "I expected you to come back when the crowns rocked off." So, she didnt do anything but dremelled down one of the crowns that was totally out of whack from my bite. (9) She told me to come back again when the crown dislodged. NOT! (9) I scheduled an appt with another dentist in July This dentist could not believe the shape that my crowns were in and how poorly done the work was. They offered to send the xrays to my insurance company. (10) Had the crowns from Aspen broken and redone. (11) On July 20, I will finally get some decent crowns. New dentist is awesome! I repeat, do not go to Aspen in Merritt Island. The female dentist is a nightmare. Oh, and by the way, this is going to cost me about $2000 out of my own pocket to fix. After 8 different visits to the dentist since April, I will finally have some closure, but not with Aspen Dental. No way in heck!

EDIT: I went to my treatment appointment and spoke with the lady who dealt with me on my first appointment and she assured me that her and the dentist took my concern seriously and have since decided to slow down and make certain their patients are properly informed. I changed my rating from 2 star to 5. She took the time to explain that once a Dr. diagnoses treatment needed that they cant do less then that until treatment is done. That makes sense. Its just that the Dr. didnt take time to explain any of that. I appreciate that they took me seriously and have since improved the customer service. Thank you to them. Original post: It started good and ended poorly. I got seen quickly and receptionist was welcoming. The gentleman who took my xrays was friendly and courteous. The Dr. was friendly and courteous during the exam. As he was leaving the Dr. explained that they would let me know what was covered by insurance regarding cleaning and treatment.... Then I waited almost 30 minutes to be renoticed by xray tech that I havent been seen by checkout person yet. Finally I was retrieved by payment lady after waiting quite some time. She explained to me that the treatment I need is not covered and 140$. I told her I only wanted cleaning. She claimed that the state now has forced them to do that IF DOCTOR DIAGNOSIS TREATMENT NEEDED. Cute. The Dr. didnt once mention that on his exam. Payment lady claims he saw it on xrays and exam. Fine if he did, but not telling me that on the exam was not professional or full disclosure of his exam. Also being forced by the state? For a treatment diagnosed by a Dentist? Really? So I cant get my teeth cleaned unless I pay for treatment or go to a different dentist who wont diagnose needing this treatment..... The payment lady even recommended going to the college for cleaning for 10 bucks..... Needless to say, not happy that the Dr. didnt disclose my exam findings, that the state dictates if I can get cleaning based on findings and that I pay for dental insurance that wont cover a treatment. Just a FYI for others who go to get their initial exam done at Aspen Dental.

I would like to say that my procedure was very painful and also I suffer from anxiety. I had all my teeth removed but 2 but my first temp dentures DID NOT FIT Dr. Trombly immediately ordered a new one in 5 days time and I must say the new one is much better. I would like to take a minute to tell you about one of your dental assistants Holly. I literally came in the office in tears I hadnt eaten solid food in 5 days and hadnt slept in 4 (yesterday was the first day I had 6 solid hours of sleep) and she made me feel better by explaining tricks and things I could do to help with my swelling and she just made me feel like things will get better and immediately felt better. My first temp dentures were wrong size wrong fit and actually made my first 48 hours a very painful due to those dentures lab tech Arthur tried to fix them but I actually think it made them worse I got 2 gum soars. I dont know who made the error but if it werent for the warm loving care by Holly and Dr. Tronbly and Kevin I would have left to another office. I MUST mention Kevin he saw me in tears in the lobby and took me to a private office to see what was wrong and he sent me to the office lady (dont know her name but she was amazing as well). Point of the story I needed a hug bad and he knew it that was very comforting. I know you are a franchise but I must say this location has great staff members and will refer anyone that asks. Dr. Trombly, Holly, Kevin are irreplaceable. I started off being unsure of your office (my first dental assistant Isaac was not as knowledgeable but as I understand he is a student studying to be a dentist) but thank God for Holly she changed my whole outlook on this procedure. Thank you so much for your great staff and service. If I could vote Holly as employee of the month I would please make her employee of the month. Again thanks a lot.

DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT go to this place (Merritt Island office)! I eventually learned from one of the transient staff members that it is a TRAINING FACILITY. Quick turnover of staff created many hassles for us. First trip in, we filled out all the med info and gave copies if our military i.d.s. They could not book our appointment due to "issues" and said they would call us later. I waited a few days, stopped back in and discovered they lost all our private medical information we had just filled out days before. I forgave them for the inconvenience and proceded anyhow. There were several more minor irritations with office/appts/billing. I could never quite put my finger on it until the fourth new office member told me MI office is for training. The last straw for us was a cleaning service billing error. We had already had a previous cleaning 6 mos prior. This time they tried to collect a co-pay before I left BUT I do not have a co-pay...EVER for cleanings. The manager was going to look into it and correct it. SHE DID NOT. They kept sending me bills and I kept calling. I cancelled all future appts at this point. UPDATE: After I was unsuccessful, my insurance company had to do the work for me. They went up the chain with Aspen and got their billing error resolved. BUT, it took over six months! My insurance company said "get away from that office". JUST LOOK THEM UP ON THE BBB. UPDATE: We have been using KEO now for 5yrs. NEVER EVER any problems. Save yourself and go to a well established, trusted member of our community....PRIVATE OWNED not corporate.
