It has been now a year since Dr. Rabaza did my gastric sleeve surgery and as you can see, it was a success!! I couldnt be happier! I saw comments on here about gaining the weight back. I dont know what they had to go through before the surgery but Rabaza team had me do alot before. This was to understand what I was getting my self into and what needed to be done after. The surgery is a tool to help loose the weight, ultimately if you didnt change your eating habits (as told prior to surgery) well then I guess you will gain it back. Your stomach will stretch out again. This I know because one year later I eat a lil more then I did when I first had it done. I havent had a soda or anything carbonated in one year!!! This was one of things I was warned about not having after the surgery. Exercise ppl yes you will have to, that thing you didnt do before will not be a thing you can get away from doing now just because the pounds are melting away almost on there own every month! I had an amazing experience with him as a doctor and his treatment coordinator (Sarah) who did everything from scheduling (all the other appointments with other specialist prior to surgery) to getting my pre-approval with my Insurance company. On the note of Dr. Rabaza acting like a God (that another review said) well he is such a good surgeon that he is in high demand. I waited 8 hours for my surgery in the hospital already because 2 emergencys came in and he was rushed to O R. It sucked but no complaints, the guy is saving ppls lives. This is why I choose Rabaza too, he does all surgerys in the torso area. So who better than that to be in the O R if something went wrong. So when you see probably like 50 people in a day and your not jumping up down with joy to see the next patient your not rude, your in work mode. Its not personal ppl. I would love to be his spokes person, I think he is amazing and my life has completely changed for ever. Jeniffer Martinez

If I could give a half star, I would. I have no idea how this doctor got a 4.6 rating because he is the worst doctor I have experienced in my life. The entire experience from beginning to end was a disaster. The office staff is very rude and does not speak nor treat patients with any kind of compassion. Doctor thinks he is a God and just rolls into the office and surgery anytime he likes with complete disregard for others. hes a jerk.

Wish i can talk to him but, no money or the right insurance coverage. My surgery was in 2000 amd have gained all back. So sad
