I dont know where to even start. Especially since trying to put a complaint internally while in the hospital is impossible. The ER staff/service was horrible. Being admitted the 1st day I only saw my assigned doctor once while 2 days there with no follow up. The Lead Nurse who was responsible of my care, Who Im not even sure if I could disclose here name is extremely rude and would get in your face and talk to you in a manner that is inappropriate and extremely discomforting and will scream at you. Watching her delegate work and hearing bad comments of her from other employees in the ER made me question my care. Following the ER, the Behavioral Health unit is a complete joke. The way I witnessed patients being treated there made me more depressed than when I got there. From having to see a woman in a wheelchair in distress because all the Behavioral Health Technician would Literally WALK AWAY when she needs assistance to get to the bathroom, to being talked down upon like if I were a child that could not comprehend what was going on. I have never seen a display of LAZINESS in my life. I dare you to ask for a towel or personal hygiene essentials they will be given to you hours later if not the next day. The Techs will tell you that someone specific is in charge or giving you a blanket or to inventory items family member bring you just so they wont stop what they are doing with is usually socializing with other BH TECHS or being on their phones (Mind you the all have the same title as Behavioral Health Techician.) its just laziness the tech there are mostly cubans who are socializing with each other, looking to do nothing but just get thru their shifts. (I dont have anything against Cubans or any heritage this is simply just information I collected while being there. My girlfriend is Cuban and I live with her in a Cuban household)The patients I saw in there were crying everyday because they were simply not treated as humans. The BH Techs have no manner and are there to just socialize and not work. If you ask them for something simply they are immediately bothered and find some ridiculous excuse to not give you it and just plain give you attitude. They Give you a meal card where you can select what you will be eating for breakfast lunch and dinner. Im not sure why they would give you this card because its pointless, you dont even receive what you have elected thus causing many of the patients already emotionally unstable in the facility to become irritated and distressed. This experience in both the ER and the behavioral health unit in Kendall regional hospital has made me give up Faith on humanity. I have never seen humans treat each other so bad in my life and for no reason, it felt like I was bullied in this facility as most of the tech are rude and make you feel bad just for asking simple request. They were plenty of staff in the facility who couldnt even speak proper English. I being bilingual did not have a problem communicating in the facility but I saw many others who are only English speakers having to deal with a technician that is speaking broken English. Which is ridiculous when youre dealing with people who are emotionally unstable and causing them to be stressed even more. This rant can continue forever. To end this review please consider your choice wisely if you are considering Kendall Regional Hospital for any health service. And who ever can guide me in the direction to help me address this issue I would love to work with you because it is simply not right to go to seek help and end up feeling belittled and depressed. I am thankful I am out of there and worried for the people who are there and will be there in the future.

La verdad la última vez que ahí estuve fue horrible estuve dos días en ayuna esperando por mi médico que me tenía que hacer un procedimiento el primer día no apareció al día siguiente tampoco pude comer porque era que me iba a hacer el estudio en ayuna también ese mismo día me dieron de alta Él me dijo no se vaya hasta que no le den el almuerzo para que no esté tan débil A la hora de caminar hasta el parqueo, me espere una hora Cuando llegó la hora de la comida me dijeron que no había comida para mí porque a las enfermeras se le olvidó reportar mi comida salí de allí sin comer 2 días en ayuna y después de haberme hecho un procedimiento con anestesia general en el parqueo me desmayé ahí llamaron a los paramédicos demoraron casi una hora en venir estoy hablando del parqueo del mismo hospital cuando llegaron los paramédicos estaban más preocupados preguntando Cuál era el carro de la persona que me estaba acompañando en lugar de preguntar qué fue lo que me pasó de mirarme llevarme para la emergencia no sé al cabo de casi 2 horas fue que me llevaron para las emergencia una silla de ruedas ahí comenzaron de nuevo a torturarme Porque son unos ineptos no saben coger vena una de las veces que estuve ahí me dieron 37 pinchazos y al final no me pudieron coger la avena me tuvieron que hospitalizar y mandar para la sala sin haberme podido coger la vena tengo pánico a ese hospital, Y para colmo de males es el hospital donde me mandaron para hoy en la mañana hacerme una cirugía porque ese es el que tiene mi seguro y les juro que estoy muriendo de miedo me van a operar de una hernia iatal Tengo miedo que en lugar de eso me operen una pata hoy yo ya no sé no les tengo ninguna confianza, tengo mucho mucho miedo, Sólo le pido a Dios que todo salga bien, al menos Creo que el cirujano que me voy a operar es excelente pero del hospital ese tengo mucho miedo, el trato es pésimo

This building IS NOT a "hospital" it is a BUTCHERY!!! "UN MATADERO" de de personas peor que de animales. Sutil I ask PARDON to the butchery in Miami-Dade County because where they kill pigs, cows, etc., they have more knowledge and compassion with the animals. This place needs to be closed down!!!! What we went through with my 94 year old mother in the so called "TRAUMA CENTER" really caused a permanent TRAUMA IN ALL OF US!!! MY MOTHER PASSED AWAY FROM CANCER SIX MONTHS AFTER THIS HORRIBLE ABUSE SHE ENDURED AT THIS PLACE. A CANCER PATIENT SHOULD NOT HAVE TO GO THROUGH ALL THE NEGLECT MY ELDERLY MOTHER WENT THROUGH. TODAY, I AM STILL NOT RECOVERED FROM THE MEMORIES OF WHAT I SAW MY MOTHER GO THROUGH IN THAT PLACE WHERE SHE WAS TAKEN BECAUSE SHE FELL DOWN AND WAS INJURED ON ONE SIDE BECAUSE OF THE FALL. NO ONE WOULD TELL US WHAT WAS GOING ON AND WHAT MY MOTHER HAD. SHE WAS TAKEN THERE BY MISTAKE BY RESCUE BECAUSE THE PROXIMITY OF OUR HOME TO THAT PLACE. MY MOTHER WAS ALWAYS EXCELLENTLY CARE FOR AT BAPTIST HOSPITAL. THIS WAS SO SAD!!! SO PAINFUL AND SHAMELESS! AFTER OVER TWENTY FOUR HOURS OF LAYING IN A TRAUMA CENTER STRETCHER WITHOUT FOOD AND ONLY SIPS OF WATER AND BEING A DIABETIC TYPE TWO, FINALLY SOME SURGEON DID A SURGERY ON MY MOTHER. MY DAUGHTER HAD TO RUN AFTER THE SURGEON TO FIND OUT WHAT MY MOTHER HAD. THE SURGEON TOLD HER VERY LIMITED INFORMATION AS HE WALKED AWAY AS IF MY MOTHER WAS LESS THAN AN ANIMAL. I pray to God to deliver my love ones and including me, and any Miami-Dade County citizen from ever being taken to this MATADERO. The y ARE so NEGLECTFUL and they lack ALL RESPECT, COMPASSION AND PROFESSIONAL CARE FOR THEIR PATIENTS. The nurses, doctors and all employees dont know how to talk, THEY ALL SCREAM!!!! I heard in the "TRAUMA CENTER???!" nurses scream..."OYE CAFECITO, VEN QUE TRAJERON UNA COLADA. OYE FULANA, DALE RÁPIDO, VEN QUE SE ACABA". I was shocked!!! On shift change THE KISSING AMONG EACH OTHER WAS #1 PRIORITY, AND THEIR JOKING AROUND AND LAUGHING VEERY LOUD WAS SHAMELESS, NOT TO MENTION THE PINCHING ON THEIR BUTTOCK AREA BACK AND FORTH AND LOUD LAUGHING. During this pinching behavior even a male nurse fell off from the chair. At least they should change this place name from KENDALL REGIONAL HOSPITAL. lol to "THE CARLUCHOS HAPPY HOUR!!! HOW THE HEALTH AUTHORITIES ALLOW THIS PLACE TO CONTINUE TO BE OPEN???? THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!! CLOSE DOWN THIS PLACE OR HAVE SOME GOOD HOSPITAL TAKE OVER AND DELIVER PROPER HEALTH CARE "AND" CHECK EMPLOYEES LICENSES TO ENSURE THEY DO HAVE A LICENSE TO PRACTICE AND THAT THE LICENSES ARE IN PLACE AND CURRENT. ADEQUATE DISCIPLINE AND CONDUCT MUST BE IMPLEMENTED RIGHT AWAY!!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THE BUTCHERY!!!!!!!! EL MATADERO!!!!!!!
