Animalife is nothing short of a great experience from scheduling to front desk to the care of your fur babies and even to the bill! We have had experiences from puppy care to saying goodbye... Dr. Eisel was the only vet in Naples I found that offered to call in a dentist to grind a broken canine, rather than pull it out like the other vets in town recommended. And even though I expected a large dent in my wallet, I was actually surprised that it was lower than anticipated. Later on, we had visited another vet in town from a friends recommendation. I was taken back by the bill but figured its once a year... well our dog ended up having a seizure and when that vet told us they were booked for a week I was appalled and stunned! My husband called Animalife and they said "Bring him in immediately!" Unfortunately, that started the path to an end stage cancer diagnosis, but Dr. Foster made sure we were given all of the options and that our dog was the most comfortable for the remainder of his life. He lived a very active and happy 9 months after an initial prognosis of 6-10 weeks! When we noticed he was slowing down and not looking comfortable anymore, the sad day came when I called Animalife again... They asked ME when I wanted to come in and did not worry about checking the schedule for an opening. They had a room cleared and waiting for us, straight from the car, no checking in and waiting... They were very patient and gentle and gave us as much time as we needed. They called to check on us a few days later and even mailed a condolence card. When I went to pick us Zeus ashes, one of the nurses pulled me aside again to make sure we were doing ok. Since, weve gotten 2 more dogs who will never go anywhere other than Animalife. Our most recent care has been under Dr McClean, who is also wonderful! This truly is the best vet experience in Naples.

1) Randy Eisel incorrectly prescribed medication to one of my cats. His staff failed to weigh her, and, ironically, the dosage of the medication is predicated on the cats weight. Eisel did not even notice that there was no weight written on the records. He decided to prescribe the medication the way HE thought and totally disregarded the manufacturers instructions as to dosing and testing. 2) Second horrible blunder: Because of his lack of concern, lack of skill, lack of knowlege, whatever, my other cat is dead. I brought the cat to him in February with very serious symptoms: vomiting red-brown saliva; he had collapsed and couldnt move, loss of appetite and loss of weight. He gave him an antibiotic, said he didnt know what was wrong and sent us on our way with no suggestion for additional testing. The following September I brought the cat back for the same symptoms. By then he had lost three more pounds. His staff was shocked at the weight loss, but Eisel didnt even mention it to me. He then did a blood test (finally!) and basically blew off his blood test results and told me to look for blood in his stool. Genius. Six weeks later I took him to another vet who early in the morning diagnosed him with probable lymphoma, and we had to say good-bye to our angel that same evening. I would NEVER EVER subject a pet to his lack of care, lack of skill (with the obvious) and ZERO empathy.

I was going to another vet for many years with my three cats. One of them had always had a ear wax problem that they we well aware of. When she was 10 her ear started to smell so I took her in to make sure there wasnt an infection. Long story short she thought there was a mass in her ear (poss cancer). I asked if they could just biopsy it to see if it was cancerous or not. She said no, that it was too far down and they would have to remove most if her ear to get at it!! I was shocked and went home in tears. I remembered Dr Esiel and took her to him. He asked what I wanted to do and I told him also,l that I just wanted a biopsy to see what we were looking at. He said that was reasonable and to bring her in the next day. (they had to put her under). I get the call to pick her up and it turned out to be a clump of compacted earwax!! My cat almost lost her ear because of earwax. Nevertheless they have been coming here ever since. Dr. Esiel listens to your instincts and doesnt discount you because your not a professional. I would recommend them absolutely. Also a shout out to the nurses and front desk. They are always so nice.

You can see how much EVERYONE at Animalife truly love the animals they are caring for. The Vets and the staff are kind, knowledgeable, caring and loving to their patients and their patients people. 8 years ago my indoor 8 yr old cat got out and got into a fight with a feral cat. No marks, no missing fur, he seemed fine once he calmed down. One week later his whole back was infected and required emergency surgery. He was on strong antibiotics for as long as he could be and his back was still not completely healed. I was desperate when I came to Animalife. My previous vet did not know what else they could do. Dr. Foster (at Animalife) took excellent care of my big boy and he is still with me. He is a rescue and has had numerous health issues over the years. These doctors have all seen my cat and they all take such good care of their patients I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. I would never take my babies anywhere else.

I had posted on FB that I needed a good veterinarian. I had a lot of replies but I had 2 friends that sent me a private message that highly recommended Dr Eisel and his staff. My friend Todd said that he has been going there for 15 years and wouldnt trust anyone else with his pets. My choice was made. The office is clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and professional. I felt I was leaving my pet in great hands. I was called after the surgery and was given a update on my pets status. He had to stay the weekend but was assured he would be well taken care of and he was. I was able to call on Saturday for another update. The price was what they had quoted me. Im 100% satisfied with Dr. Eisel and his staff. I recommend that you bring your pet here. You wont be disappointed.

Several years ago we had two Yorkies. Archie was seen by Dr. Eisel since he was a pup. Andy was a rescue and had been seen and treated at a different office since before we adopted him so we continued taking him to that office but would take Andy with us to Archies appointments at Animalife, so they got to know Andy, too. Both Archie and Andy were attacked by a couple dogs in our neighborhood and, unfortunately, Andy did not survive. The kind and caring people at Animalife sent a very nice card to us even though Andy was not a client of theirs. That really touched our hearts. We now have another Yorkie who is a client at Animalife along with Archie. They treat our boys like they are their own. We just love that about Animalife. We feel like family there.
