This is the sorriest excuse for a pediatric practice I have ever had the misfortune to experience. The doctors/nurse practitioners are completely incompetent, the staff is rude and unprofessional and the office equipment is old and in poor working order. We are a professional working couple whose children were treated at Rivers Edge until Dr. Dondero and Nurse Practicioner Joy Lewis failed to make an accurate (rather "any") diagnosis which resulted in a hospital visit, and loads of bullsh** for our family. They have attempted to destroy our reputation as good parents and we have been made to jump through many hoops in order to defend ourselves and our rights as parents. Do yourselves a favor and avoid Rivers Edge Pediatrics. They are truly not worth the time or trouble.

We saw Dr. Dondero on our visit and he was very negative the entire time. We have been to two appointments one when my daughter was nine months and the other at twelve months. He didnt want to hear about any kind of reaction she had to vaccines in the past and when I asked about getting her vaccines spaced out over a few weeks he dismissed her past reactions as "normal". He left his clipboard and pen on the table where she was which caused her to just try and reach them which would have been very dangerous. He doesnt seem to care about or even like his job and cant interact with kids or adults.

I chose this office for Kathleen. I had heard great things about her and when my son had his appointment, she was very kind and professional. Then, after I had my daughter, we got the male Dr. He is extremely rude and his bed side manner is off putting. It felt like a tense, awkward interrogation. When I asked questions he acted like I was bothering him. Hes honestly just a real jerk. I dont understand why rude miserable people become pediatricians. If you hate people, work some place you dont have to interact with people. Especially children.

Love the staff, all the ladies are very kind, I had one appointment with Dr D in the year and a half we have gone there- and he seemed like he could have cared less about what the problem was. I recommend to request not to have him. All the nurses and ladies are super kind and make each visit a pleasure. (This is the mother of our son typing, wrong google account)

I have been taking my children here for nearly six years now. In fact, everyone I asked for advice on a pediatrician recommended Dr. Montemayor. While the wait is sometimes longer than ideal, the only problem I have had there is with Dr. Dondero who lacks bedside manner and communication skills. If you request a female doctor, however, you will be pleased.

I have a disabled child that i have been taking to rivers edge peds for 4 years .they have been doing a great job with health .(and she has many health problems) And i find the staff very competent or my child would not be going there. And i tried many beforr chosing them and the were the best for my childs problems. april niemczyk

Love the staff and doctors especially Dr. Montemayor. My son had chronic migraines and had every test done there is. When we met with Dr. Montemayor, she had us try a simple solution and it worked perfectly. Never had migraines again. Shes an extremely bright woman and will not stop until she finds a solution.

The entire staff is excellent! My daughter was having some health concerns & with the help of the staff & drs we have been able to get the help she needs! They call to check on her & see how she is progressing even though she is with Specialist now. Always happy to see us, even for the small stuff.

Like the staff and the female practitioners but getting someone to answer the phone in the morning is nearly impossible. Its 9:20 AM and the answering service message is still on....telling me to call at 9:00, when they open.

Me and my wife live an hour and a half away and we are still going to him. We love the staff, they are friendly and love children. The male doctor is amazing, hes overall a great Dr. We will always take our kids here.
