I will say for starters that I did not have a valid ID which is on me, but I still should not have been treated so vaguely and as if I was unimportant by the receptionist. She was an older lady with short blondish hair and glasses. When I said I was uninsured she told me very blankly it would be $1000, and I said I could work out a payment plan for that, to which she said, "Youll have to take that up with billing." She was very blank in her responses. I could tell she didnt want to deal with me. I showed her my expired ID and she told me they couldnt do anything unless it was valid, so thats on me again. However, she told me there was a BMV 4 miles from them, after I already said I had to walk because I dont drive, and she said nothing else to me after that. I ended up leaving and bawling my eyes out to my fiance. See, this woman didnt know that I had a rough day. I walked miles to another location only for them to not service me, and then more miles to another location, with raw feet I might add because I sped on my walk to the first location. I come all the way to have a woman be rude and vague to me and seem not to care to help me. She was my breaking point. Because of the experience I had today, I will not be going back to Ohio Health again, not if they hire people like that. I dont care if youve had a bad day too. When you go to work you put on your customer service face and you deal with it. I had a really rough day but I did not take it out on this woman. I would expect the same in return, especially from someone in public health.

Doctors are amazing however the staff are very rude they always over book and is very slow. You have to make an appointment 2 or 3 months in advance to get in. Medical assistant hardly ever return your call and when they do they just say theyll call you back and you dont hear anything. When you finally see an doctor they apologize and make it clear that no one has sent them message as they say they do. Than they have the doctor so booked she can hardly talk to you without rushing. I hate to have to find a new doctor but since she moved from downtown this has been an absolute nightmare.
