I just moved to the area and my dogs needed their shots for vacation. My boyfriends family recommended this place and my whole visit was a disaster!! They waited to tell me when I walked in the door that they do not accept checks after knowing that I was new to the office. Dr. Cox is a nice guy but when asking questions he acted like he didnt want me to ask questions. Then when I was getting ready to leave the office I asked if the staff could fax a copy of the records to the kennel the dogs were going to stay for a week and they acted like it was going to kill them to do it. Also, my boyfriends family had been using this office for a while and their dog got really sick. The office was closed on Saturdays so they took her to another vet in the area. Come to find out, their dog had tumors on its back that this office should have caught during check ups. If the cancer would have been caught early maybe she would still be here today. If you really care about your animals DO NOT TAKE THEM TO THIS OFFICE!!

My little papillon "Fly" has a hematoma on his ear flap which was so big that I knew I needed to see a vet...my daughters Hayley and Courtney both take their dogs to Dr. Cox and have raved so much on Dr. Cox and staff... so I made an appointment to visit Dr. Cox which was today...I was so pleased to hear that surgery wasnt an option at this point that meds would take care of it. I really didnt want surgery for my little 7 lb boy. The office help were so wonderful and so kind, but Dr. Cox was a true blessing. He explained everything to me on what causes this and how to take care of it. Fly being the shy one even loved the staff and especially Dr. Cox. Fly was wagging his tail the entire time. Thank you for taking such good care of my little one...made appointment for my other papillons as well. I now have found my vet family. Thank you again. Gale Luttrell-Bowser

The clinic allowed my ex to bring a dog in and charge it to me. The problem is they never notified me!!!!!!! Here we are years later my son showed up with my 40lb obviously very ill dog in his arms because he cant even stand up.... not only do they say no youniwe is money, my son holds out my credit card and says ok we will pay all of it whatever the dog needs a dr!!! The girl is yelling at him telling him while hes calling me to leave the building, we will never take care of your pets again!!! $72, thats what was owed I offered to pay that and upfront for the visit but instead your front staff was rude about something that had nothing to do with us,and refused to see a very sick animal!! Not acceptable!!!!!

I had taken my dogs there for quite sometime, Dr. Cox is a very nice man but he is not very informative about what is wrong with your pet. Also, I have had "run ins" with one particular girl at the counter who was so incredibly rude that I changed veterinarians, apparently I should have "known" that they no longer accept checks even though I have written them checks since I started going there years prior. I have since then had to call "numerous" times to have them forward my dogs records to the new veterinarian. As a whole, I am very unhappy with this particular veterinary clinic, and do not recommend them to anyone.

Have been going there for years. Ive had pets for many many years but I have never had front office people be so rude and non-customer service. The one lady does not smile and did not even greet me when I walked in. She looked irritated that I was there. The other lady is not nice either. In my years of dealing with vets, this one tops it for customer NO service! I do like the Dr. but the front office staff makes it so unwelcoming!! I will be looking for another vet in the area that will take time and be glad you are bringing them your pet.

I changed vets and came to Dr. Cox as he was recommended by a friend of mine. He is wonderful as is the rest of the staff! My older dog has some major health issues and they listened to me, promptly ran tests (which werent scheduled, but they made time for us), and came up with a plan to hopefully make my girl feel better. The staff actually apologized for the wait during the tests...that never happened once in 8+ years with our previous vet. Top notch in customer service! Highly recommend!

Dr. Cox has been my vet since 2006. He and his office staff are so nice and you can tell they love what they do. The best part is I have never waited in the waiting room...ever! They get you right into the exam room which makes my pets and me very happy. Prices are fair and the vet is honest. I recommend them to everyone I know and we all agree that he is the only vet for us!

I feel so comfortable taking my cats to Dr. Cox. He is just wonderful and very caring. He also knows his stuff so if you want a great atmosphere with a loving and caring staff...go see Dr. Cox. His prices are fair too which is important.

My mom and my dog were treated very poorly, we will not be going back. Very disappointing when you trust someone with your dog and they treat them the way mine was treated. Not only that but they were nasty with my mom.

I have used this same Veterinary clinic for several years. I went after my dog was misdiagnosed by another local vet. Dr. Cox was very helpful and has always taken great care of my pets. I highly recommend this place.

They did treat our dog however never talked about anything they were doing. So a hour later we have a bill for $600 I never agreed to or signed anything. Its a scam and a dam shame places like this are around

I found Dr. Cox when I moved to New Smyrna almost two years ago. I have 2 senior dogs with some health problems, and the doctor and staff have always been great. I highly recommend them.
