I completely agree with the most recent review posted here a week ago, if I could give negative stars I would. I have been in to BAH twice and spent over $800 during those two visits in behalf of my dogs health. I initially wrote a very positive review, however that first impression did not extend to the second visit. I carried (literally had to carry) my 17 y.o. min pin in on a Friday after a night of suspected siezures. An xray and exam was conducted and a full blood profile sent out which I was told should be back over the weekend and that Dr. Goldstien would call me to discuss. Thankfully my dog did a 360 and was back to normal the following day. I did not hear from the doctor as promised and fully expected and assumed by my dogs turn around all was normal so not cause for concern, I reached out on Tuesday via email for the results. On Wednesday night I received a call (VM) from a staff member and another call from Dr. Goldstien responding to my email both referencing sending out the blood tests from his former vet. It was if they were not even cognizant that he had had bloodwork sent out. I emailed that I was looking for his current bloodwork and asked if it had indeed been sent out and got no response. I called a week later to follow up and was finally emailed a copy of the report with the comment, if you have any further concerns, please contact us. I was again assuming from all of this that the blood work was normal, however it was not! There were several things well out of range which could indicate liver, pancreas or auto immune issues (a problem he already has had). In response to this I sent an angry email demanding the analysis on the bloodwork that I paid for. This solicited an angry and combative phone call from Dr. Goldstien stating that he had left me a VM, he does not leave long messages about bloodwork, it was up to me to call him back if I wanted results. When I questioned his follow up and practice given that there were problems with the bloodwork HE HUNG UP ON ME. So not only did he drop the ball and show no concern for my senoir dogs health, I still have no analysis on the blood work I paid for (that visit was $384 in total), so I must pay for another vet to provide the analysis and recommended treatment. Unbelievably poor care and service. I hope this is helpful and you think twice before entrusting your pets health to these people.

My experience was the most horrifying I ever had in my life. I have had at least 30 animals in my life and have never had a more devastating experience with a veterinary clinic. I had just moved in the area and the people I am working for told me they took their dog to Biscayne hospital, so I figured it would be safe to take my dog for a routine anal gland infection in which he had several times after grooming and the glands are expressed. Yes, my dog was old but, in the past I would always be prescribed by my Vet was a regime of Clavimox and within a few days he was fine. I asked for the Clavimox and he didnt feel it was necessary (so him being the Dr. I listened and used the spray which he gave me) now looking back I should have just gone to another vet and I wish I would have read his ratings before I went Within 2 weeks my dog passed away, I believe the infection went through his body. But the worst part was I didnt know where to take him to be cremated so I called them they told me to bring him over. I got there the front desk clerk didnt even act like she had any sympathy at all, she told me to leave my dog on the table and did I want to see the vet What....... isnt that a given, but the vet never was brought into the room. The front desk clerk said ok come out told me it was $249.00 I had to ask what happens next and shes says it takes 2 weeks to get ashes back. This is about and hour after my dog died, I was still crying and not really in my right logical mind. Everything happened so fast and was stupefied when I left. My employer was with me when all this took place and he was totally shocked on how unsympathetic the whole process was. In the next few days he called Dr Goldstein and told him how disappointed and rude his help was, but do you think the good Dr. called me after knowing one of his good clients complained and expected an apology. I received no call!!! I went in to pick up my dogs ashes and made sure Dr. Goldstein knew how disappointed and devastated for my beloved dogs loss. To all of you who read this I hope that you will NOT walk through the doors of Biscayne Animal. You can not learn compassion, either you have or you dont and let me tell you they have none!!!!!!!!!!

Really guys!!!! The doctor that was with me was a sweetheart and so it was her assistant. But OH MY GOD their customer service just SUCKS! The lady on the front is rude, extremely rude, let you wait on the line for over 20 minutes (MORE THAN ONCE) Ive been calling them since Thursday, they have the results for my Husky lab tests since then and today is MONDAY and I am still waiting a call back, or a call or anything!!!! (And I called Thursday Friday Saturday more then twice just so you all know that Im definitely NOT sitting and waiting) Only the doctor can open the exams, Ive been calling more then twice a day to get ANY answer and the doctor is always busy, you wait on the line more than 20 minutes till the front lady says "so, I have 1 person here but I havent forgotten about you Im going to call the doctor as soon as Im done here" OH MY GOD REALLY?! ITS JUST IMPOSSIBLE TO get a call back from this place. My husky is young and its peeing herself and I want to treat her I can see that she is sad and I cant no longer have her on any pet bed cause its all pee and theyre NOT helping to help HER!!!! if its a infection its getting worse. And they have the results its been 5 days and shes still hurting. PLUS, the vet just called me I was with the phone in my hand when I pressed the green button to answer, they hang up on me and I called back right away and the lady said " the doctor just called you now you have to wait on the line again" OH MY GOD! Worst experience with customer service EVER! PS: STILL WAITING TO HELP MY HUSKY.

My family is devastated. We lost our beloved dog Lala last Friday. I should have followed my gut feeling but I did not. I never liked this place specially Dr. Bustter. We moved from Houston over a year ago, a friend recommended us to Dr. Goldstein, but I never saw him. They decided to assign us to Dr. Bustter in the practice. Lala had a wonderful doctor someone that cares, someone that LOVES and shows COMPASSION. Lala was in great shape for her age, (12 years old) even Dr. Bustter told me so last time I saw her. These were her exact words "Dont worry Mrs. Lopez, your dog is in her middle age, shell live much longer" She suffered from urinary infections, last Wednesday she was feeling down, we took her to the vet, my husband explained the situation and gave instructions to do a full check up. She was there for 5 hours.... 5 hours!!! Bustter called my husband saying that Lala had an urinary infection and gave her antibiotics and some liquids. Lala passed away 36 hours after that of a cardiac arrest. Dr. Busster wasnt there, she went out of town. Dr. Goldstein cannot give us all the answers to all our questions since "he was not her doctor" he said. 4 days have gone by and we still have not heard from Dr. Bustter. Nor have we received a sympathy cards as most practices would. Maybe last Friday was Lalas day to leave us, but the lack of compassion from this practice is what pains us the most. Good luck with your pet. God bless.
