This place is a joke! They over-diagnosed me with services totaling thousands of dollars. They also charged me over DOUBLE my out-of-pocket expense for services rendered, even with insurance, apparently because Mellitza, the head receptionist couldnt figure out what was covered under my popular insurance plan (despite her having called them to verify benefits). After confronting her that I was overcharged, she tried to say the fillings I received were more expensive because of some nonsensical excuse, and after speaking with my insurance company, they verified I was overcharged. It is now 39 days after my service and I am still waiting on a refund. Not sure if Ill ever get it, however. I wont even get into the discomfort and pain I had during a filling with Dr. Mercado. I would definitely avoid this place AT ALL COSTS and check out Watson Dental over by Universal! They are amazing and NOT fueled by corporate schemes to make as much money as they can even if it is not in the best interest of the patient, like Coast Dental Waters Edge. I cant speak for other Coast Dental locations, however, Waters Edge has tarnished the Coast Dental name for me. Patient Beware! EDIT: Tried calling the line provided by the "owner", but no one is ever available. Message only. Still waiting on a call back. I wish I could edit this to have ZERO stars.

The lady that took care of us by the front desk (thick accent) was very polite. She made us feel welcome from the start. The downside of this dental office is that they dont let you know in advance of their policy "no parents allow in the dental rooms with their children". This policy took me by surprise and I did not know how react to this. I do not agree with this and I voiced my opinion, but the dentist still did not allow me to come in the room with my 8 year old. This was my first visit, and due to this policy it would be my last. I should of walked out... I think they should at least let the parents get used to the environment/office before making them wait for their child in the waiting room.

I am currently going through a very stressful move across the country and in an attempt to get all of my doctors appointments in before the big relocation, the girls at Coast Dental were able to squeeze me in just in time. When I arrived at the office I was greeted by Melissa and S. Schneider. They were so warm and friendly and were able to get me into my appointment immediately with no wait time. The cleaning was not your usual tourtière session. S. Schreider was gentle and meticulous as she cleaned and shinned up my teeth. I am sad to be leaving the office at Waters Edge and I hope that where I move to, I can find a dentist as great as they are! Thank you thank you!

I had not been to the dentist in years because of anxiety and this place was amazing. I am so glad this was my new dental experience :) The font desk staff was kind and called to confirm my appointment. The women who took my Xrays was quick and efficient. Erica was the one who did the cleanings and she was so kind and gentle. She answered all of my questions. I was a nervous wreck but everyone smiled and the Dr. explained everything thoroughly. I walked out much calmer than when I walked in! Kind, efficient and timely staff! Thank you!

I have been going to Coast Dental Waters Edge for over almost two years and have always had a great experience. The dental hygienists are friendly and the dentist is very patient and answers all of my questions. I really like that they dont push you to buy extra items (fancy toothbrushes or special mouth wash...) like I have experienced at other locations.

This office was unsympathetic about patients issues and are only interested in how much they can charge you. Felt like I was at a car dealership haggling the price while in the office for a dental emergency! Way over priced and only care about their needs and time and I would not recommend this office to anyone and will never go back!

This office has a terrible duality problem. The facade is unapproachable yet the office is immaculate. The staff is polite but uncooperative. One of the staff members unilaterally changed my appointment time the day before without consulting me. I would not recommend this dentists because it was so difficult to even see the dentist.

My daughter got into an accident at summer camp and broke her front tooth...... I expressed my concerns with Mellissa and she got my daughter in immediately. Dr. Vergara was very friendly and gentle and alleviated any fears my daughter had. Lea loves her smile..... Thank you Coast Dental. Will recommend to family and friends.

I had to have my routine periodontal maintenance done, and the information provided to me by DMD Jorge Mercado and RDH Shanei Schneider, and their work, respectively, was quite thorough, very detailed, informative, and professional. I would recommend or suggest to any new patient, this particular office. :)

I have always had good experiences here at Coast. I have a problem with get x-rays taken, but they were so patience with me and helped me through it. The hygienist S. Schneider RDH is absolutely fantastic. So personable and light hearted. She takes away all the nervousness of going to the dentist.

Excellent customer service. The hygienist is amazing. She is very informative and friendly. The doctor is wonderful too; he is very professional and Melissa and Betzy and Yvette are all awesome. All of them together.....It just works......Makes coming to the Dentist more pleasurable.
