I have been going to this dentist for 2 years for cleaning with an excellent hygienist.I am uninsured. Late 2014, I had a bridge of 10 years that became loose due to chewing gum. I went in, paid over a $100 and had them re cement the bridge. Jan 2016 they did a full mouth xray and the dentist stated no problem. There was a new hygienist who did the cleaning. A few weeks ago, while flossing, the same bridge came off. I went back and shared my concerns with the dentist, stating that the cement did not hold and that this time, my filling under the bridge was stuck to the bridge cavity. He inspected my mouth, with the bridge in place, as I was able to pop it back on. He then told me that there was an erosion to the side of my tooth and that caused the bridge to come loose. He quoted $3000 to replace the bridge. What bothered me was that he disregarded my queries as to why the bridge became loose after 15 months, why the cement used pulled my filling from the tooth, and why my xrays 4 months ago did not show any problem. I think that the cleaning was faulty and caused erosion on the tooth, and the poor cementing did not hold. Very, very disappointed as a client for so long and to be treated casually and dismissively. Plus, who calculates the cost of a procedure to an exact amount and then give an exorbitant quote. I felt cheated in many ways, so I paid $50.00 for him to look into my mouth and the examination was one minute as he did not even lift off the bridge to see the damage to my tooth. Unacceptable!

I havent had insurance in many years and finally got it so I finally made my first dental appointment with insurance to get my teeth cleaned. The staff was very friendly there, but they told me I needed $2000 worth of work done in my mouth. I couldnt believe it because I take the best care of my teeth as possible, the best I couldnt without routine cleanings. So I went the dentist that my mother and family friends go to who has done some work in my mouth for a second opinion. NONE of what they told me I needed done actually needs done... they told me I needed 2 root canals, I had 7 cavities, and some nasty gum disease. Needless to say, that was absolute crap. OH and to add on, they wouldnt even clean my teeth for me. They told me I needed to get all this work done first before they would clean my teeth for me. Would never recommend this dentist. If you are looking for a good dentist in the area go to Dr. Arkins on Fern Creek and Michigan or Sperling dental on Michigan. These people are thieves.

I have visited this office two times, and the staff is absolutely amazing. Waiting time was really short, not even 10 minutes! The hygienist was amazing! She did an amazing job and the cleaning I received was the best cleaning I have received in my life... I cant remember her name, but she is a Spanish lady that it is actually a dentist in Cuba and it is working as a hygienist now but is working on getting her education here, so she can be a dentist in the United States. I didnt have the opportunity to get to meet Dr. Youssef for more than 5 minutes but he seems really nice. Now, I was really happy with the service that Sebastian (cosmetic dentist) provided to me. He explained everything in detail and suggested me to have some work done on my teeth that I knew I needed. He is really nice and professional. I will be going soon to get the smile of my dreams! Thank you, to al the staff and please keep up the good work!

This office has done nothing but double talk since we stepped in.. Wait time was horrible (1hour over scheduled time) We rejected the treatment plan suggested, but were told we did not have a choice .. It is the patients right to choose what they want done to them, especially when there are other reasonable treatments and you are paying for it.. The office refused to downgrade the treatment and wanted us to pay for things we did not even need...They wanted to do root canals on teeth that have to be removed, HELLO what for ? We have excellent coverage and they still wanted excessive fees on top of the insurance payout so they padded the bill with procedures not needed... Please be very careful of the peaceful and new appearance of this office .. it is a fasaud dont get taken in by it..

Both my husband and I have been patients since 2013 until today. Last year we were both told we needed fillings. After having them done, we both started experiencing pain in the teeth that were filled. Went back and was told our fillings were too high. After shaving it down, we both still had pain and at this point they referred us to a Endodontits. We were told that we now needed root canals because during the filling my husbands tooth was fractured and the filling disrupted the nerves in my tooth. I went against my gut and went back to them for our crowns (big mistake). They replaced Nicole with someone named Vern I believe and she is the absolute worst! Completely rude, a liar and she was the last straw. Needless to say we will not be going back!!!

Friday morning, 2/19/16 I called this facility due to dental pain that kept me awake most of the night. No one answered telephone, and the recorded message gave a telephone number it identified as the dentists direct number to call with problems. I left messages on both initial phone recording AND what I was lead to believe was the dentists personal number. To this date, Tuesday, February 23, 2016 I have received only one call back--THIS MORNING. Bit tardy, dont you think? One thing I remember about this facility was conversation concerning need of more patients. I dont wonder why! I wont be going back again for sure! E. Wason

Myself and husband go to Orange Avenue Dentistry and we love this ENTIRE team. Doctor Youssef and Sabastin are totally AWESOME, they explain everything to you and are very patient and kind. I love the fact that the office staff is very respectful and eager to answer any questions that you may have. I have been to others practices in the past but no one can beat Orange Avenue Dentistry on service,price, and quality. I highly recommend this practice. The Owens
