Their flyer says they are open until 5:00 p.m. and so does the door. I went at 4:45 because my dog had a nose bleed, so I looked for a place that was open. They said they stop taking appts at 4:00 and she looked at me like I had three heads. Sorry, I dont control the times my dog has an emergency. Their sign and flyer should say that then. Additionally, the girl in the front said shed ask the doctor in the back, Dr. Kuhn, to see if the Dr. could see my pet. I was told No (mind you with a dr on the premises) and told I could be given the number for 2 animal hospitals in the alternative. Dont say you are open until 5:00 if you are not. Dont advertise that you are open until 5:00 if you are not. I am new to the area and was misled by their advertisement.

I give 1 star only because I can not give no stars. Did a working interview there. All I can say is horrible staff. The one vet I shadowed seemed cold and callous. They are very fouled-mouthed, not knowledgeable, unprofessional and not compassionate with client pets. I witnesses a dog get smacked in the face twice with a towel just because he was being a goofy dog and jumping on the technicians. Be warned and go elsewhere ! Needless to say I did not accept the job offer and told the practice manager what I had seen. Dont think it will help though.... Being cruel to a pet for no reason is uncalled for.. ALWAYS !

I have worked at 4 veterinary hospitals around the nation and during this time, worked with over 80 veterinarians and hundreds of staff ranging from kennel help to hospital owners. Silver Lakes Animal Hospital ranks among the very best when it comes to friendliness, knowledge and experience, though the practice is small, it provides a very home like feel where clients are treated as family. I will continue to bring my pets here and encourage not only Pembroke Pines residents but, all surrounding towns and counties to bring their loved ones. Great job Silver Lakes Animal Hospital, dont stop what you are doing!

I have always had very good experiences with Silver Lakes Animal Hospital. The staff is always friendly and they take very good care of my pets. They go out of their way to make us feel at home. My dog, Lucy, LOVES going there! She pulls me into the office wagging her tail and goes around and says Hello to everyone. They make a fuss over her every time! The doctor there is so nice, and takes time to explain everything to me and answeres all my questions. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new vet!

Good vet and boarding....walked in to have my dog groomed (with an appointment) and watched as the groomer was yelling at the other staff about how shes busy and she "doesnt care shes leaving on time" the whole thing was awkward and I didnt want any of that potentially taken out on my dog...will try grooming once they get scheduling better so Im not handing my pet to a pissed off lady with shears.

I absolutely love the staff they have gone above and beyond for my pet he adores everyone and is treated with the utmost love and care I couldnt have asked for anything more. My first time going here, I saw Dr. Robin Kuhn. This is by far the best vet that I have taken my 9 year old lab to. She was very knowledgeable and wonderful with my dog. My dog had a very bad back injury and Dr. Kuhn even offered her cell phone # to call her in case things got worse. The best vet that I have ever been to!

Amazing! Ive had my fair shares of vets and Dr. Kuhn is by far the best! She is so patience and good with dogs. Ive had the puppy nightmare, my pup has had all sorts of things and she always one phone call away with the best solution. Awesome staff as well, compliments to Dr. Kuhn!
