I didnt want to give a single star!!!!!!!!!!! This place not only doesnt call you back when they say they will but they LIE to you about your furbabies!!! I brought my rescue there and they told him he was positive for heartworm and that I had to start him on this treatment IMMEDIATELY. The treatment was around $3k and they told me not only would he be very sick during this treatment that he also had to be kept in a crate almost the entire time and that he could not get excited at all or it could be fatal. My husband and I were sick about this and not only did we not have the money for treatment we have other furbabies and 6 children and Jax is a hyper bulldog mix who is almost NEVER calm!!! We were devastated by this news and did not know what we could do. The tech there told me she would speak with the owner of the clinic and get back to me about boarding Jax since we were concerned about him staying calm. Mind you this was to be 3 months of treatment. When I didnt hear from anyone after a couple of days I called back and was told that they would board him out of the kindness of their hearts for another $350+ for the 3 months. Before they went any further they made me come back with Jax to have him re-tested for the heartworm since it "could be a false-positive" they said. So another $60 was paid and after waiting for days they said it was still positive. We paid for some pre-treatment medications and started him on those and after a week we decided we just couldnt afford it and he seemed to be okay so we wanted to get a second opinion. We did get a second opinion and went to another vet. Waited for 7 minutes for the test to come back and it was NEGATIVE !!!!!!! We were obviously thrilled but also beside ourselves! I also took my moms pitbull there and she has a tumor on her mouth. The tech (same one) told me that it had to be removed immediately and she would speak with the owner/vet who does the surgeries but I NEVER heard back from her. This place is garbage and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone unless you want to pay them $$$$$$$ and get nothing but false diagnosis after false diagnosis. - Disgusted and outraged !!!

Treat you like family and price match. I am so glad for Nob Hill animal clinic. The staff is what makes the place so great (Dee the vet tech treats us like family and all the girls are great.) My 14 year old shih tzu, Ollie, had to be put down two years ago. They were amazing to us. They let me hold Ollie in my arms the entire time. Since she was 14, everyone knew her there. Dee cried with us and gave us a beautiful sympathy card with Ollies paw prints. Fast forward two years and we adopt a rescue dog, Olaf. Of course we went back to Nob Hill. Everyone was so kind to us, all talking about Ollie and how much they missed our family. Like I said, Dee and the girls treat us like family. I am shocked and saddened to see so many bad reviews. I guess my only complaint is that the vet changes. However, for us- Dee is as knowledgeable as any vet and she makes it the reason why we go there. Not to mention, I never feel ripped off. She always gives us alternatives and if human medicine is cheaper (like a cough syrup our new dog had to take) she gives me the measuring instruments and tells me the dosage and where to buy it. How can you beat that? They also used to price match. (I am hoping they still do!). Whenever it was time to get medicine or even a visit if there was the same thing at a lower price (they matched it!) I am very happy with the thorough visit they gave Olaf. Also they were extremely well priced. The place is immaculate and everyone is great. I highly recommend this vets office to anybody- for the staff alone.

Horrible experience. The staff was nice, but thats about it. I purchased my puppy from Petland, so I have "complimentary" visits, but somehow end up paying lots of money at the end. This is a money hungry vet and I highly recommend taking your pet elsewhere. The vet told us that she would "give" us two samples, one heartworm pill and one flea and tick pill. First of all, the flea and tick pill was empty, nothing in it. Second of all, we ended of paying over $30 for them and we werent even told about it. I was under the assumption I was paying for the fecal exam. The heartworm pill alone was $20, when I had just purchased 6 months of heartworm medicine for $30. Its insasne. Now they are hounding me to schedule an appointment to get my puppy vaccinated, but they are charging $120. The vet down the street will do it for $40. They are a COMPLETE scam, if you love your money, do not go here. They will trick you into buying anything.

Take your dog here if you want it to die! These people told me I should put my dog to sleep, that he had cancer! Thank God I didnt trust them and got a second opinion!!!! My dog had a tiny ball blocking his intestine, took him somewhere else and they save day they took it out... AND FOR LESS THAN WHAT THESE PEOPLE WANTED TO CHARGE TO PUT HIM TO SLEEP!!!!! These crooks made the problem worse.. Misdiagnosing him and charged me for giving him liquids (which made him vomit more) and medication for something he didnt have!!!!! SHAME ON YOU PEOPLE!!!! REFUSED TO EVEN PAY ME BACK FOR WHAT THEY DID!!!!

I am the most over-protective and skeptical "mommie" when it comes to my doggie Hershel. I have to tell you, I have never met someone as amazing, experienced, talented or kind as the doctor that they have on staff. They are truly a "hero" among the animal community and his true love and passion for animals (and even us humans) is readily apparent. This has been such an emotional week for me with Hershel and I cant say enough about how kind the doctor and the entire staff have been to me. God Bless Nob Hill Animal Clinic- only the best for my son and I will not trust him anywhere else!!!

I was given a date by Humane Society for my dog to get neutered and unfortunately, humane society dropped the ball and didnt set the appointment correctly with this clinic. I got very lucky and a woman by the name of Ana was there to help me out, explained the error and she made sure that my dog was examined anyway, I would recommend this facility for the service, and for the personal assistance. Ana was a great help and im very happy with their service.

Awful. Didnt spay my dog properly. While she was in heat twice they charged me with medications. Only until the third time they mentioned she might not be spayed in which they told me the owner would be in touch with me. Its been over a month and still not contact from Nob Hill or the owner. Every time my dog does go in there is a different. I wonder why??? Please do not take your dog to this place its for your own good. Awful experience
