I love this place! I have been taking my German Shepherd there since she was a puppy, about 5 years ago when we bought her from a store that was closing down. Before I go on, I just wanted to make this little side note: (I am 100% against buying and 10000000% for adopting from like, the humane society or a rescue, but this was a different situation as we didnt have intentions of getting a dog, but once we had eye contact and played together in the store, it was love at first site, and we had been planning on me getting a service/therapy dog for multiple medical problems that I have, plus it was a surprise gift from my parents and the store was closing down and I fear what would have happened to her had she not been brought into our family, so, long story short, Im not a supporter of buying animals and would prefer if people adopted and such) but ANYWAY back to this vet. My dog was being seen by AHCW aka Dr. Cordova with her papers when we left the store and we decided to just continue seeing "her" vet and did continue to see Dr. Cordova as she grew up and through these years since we got her, about 5 years now. Its a little bit pricey here and we have to wait a REALLY long time just to see Dr. Cordova, but the staff is nice here, inside it doesnt look ANYTHING like an animal hospital, it is absolutely beautiful! There are even little TVs inside each room and blinds where you can keep the blinds open so your dog or cat can look outside into the waiting room or you can close the blinds if, you know, your dog barks whenever they see another dog or your cat hisses whenever they see another cat, depending on the animal you have. I really enjoy AHCW and Dr. Cordova is VERY nice and knowledgeable about exactly what your animal needs, what is good for them, and gentle with animals. Since coming here we have changed our other dogs vet to this vet, a rott/doberman/german shepherd or other dog mix (shes a mutt and looks like a lot of different mixes, lol) as well as brought our cat in as well. I would give 5 stars for this place but the only reason why I gave 4 stars is because it is a little bit pricey (probably cause its Weston and everything in Weston is pricey, which most people who live around in Southeast Florida know that Weston is considered a rich peoples town therefore everything in it will be pricier and such), but the main reason I gave 4 stars is because even when theres no one there in the office or a ton of people in the office, the waiting time is the same: you wait for pretty much * * * *f o r e v e r* * * * , JUST to see Dr. Cordova. The waiting time is ridiculous but in the long run everything else checks out pretty okay and I enjoy coming to this office for the nice staff, nice vet, wonderful atmosphere, and knowledgeable brain that Dr. Cordova obviously has. Heehee :) Definitely do recommend this vets office to anyone. xoxoxoxoxo <3

Dr. Cordova has been my vet for 4 years now. He is very accommodating to my sensitive 5 year old Maltese, he is kind, loving and has a great attitude. Its great to see a vet actually get down on the floor and try to make the animal feel more secure in a delicate situation.  I actually feel like he listens and looks for the best interest of the animal.  Lulu loves going to the practice and that speaks volumes. The entire staff is hospitable and accommodating with scheduling, always helpful and professional. I cannot emphasize enough how much they dont rush you and make you feel so welcome, even when you are coming in at the last minute or even calling to ask a question because they are so supportive and nice. Animal Health Center in Weston Florida happened to have some good Yelp reviews and a co-worker refer me to it.  I also love that, no appointment is needed... open every day... with long hours... Cant beat that!!! And their prices are reasonable and the staff is extremely knowledgeable about what is going on with my dog (like if they talk to each other about my dog). I highly recommend them to everyone!

Animal Health Center its the only place that I trust the life and care of my dogs when our Shih Tzu needed surgery I called Dr. Cordova he agreed to perform the surgery considering I live two and a half hours away I have no problem driving over but he had the surgery done and recovered very well but that was five years ago recently but he developed kidney stones and the tumor in the chest returned I once again called Dr. Cordova and he agreed to perform the surgery on the kidney stones and the removal of the tumor and then again drove 2 1/2 hours just so that dr. Cordova can perform the surgery and yes we are related and he is my cousin but all I can do is thank him for saving me dogs life the staff is great always answers the phone the clinic its top-notch super clean and stocked with everything he needs Animal Health Center is one of the nicest clinics I have visited I do not trust any other doctor what the care of my dogs.

I was referred to Dr. Cordova and his staff about 5 years ago when we relocated to Florida. The front desk staff is always very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Cordova and the aides are very kind and patient with the animals and families. When they handle my cats and dog they are always gentle, trying not to frighten them. When dealing with the human clients they are always very helpful, providing as much information as is needed. Appointments are usually availabe within days of calling and although appointment times may be delayed you can be reassured that the Dr. and staff will spend as much time as you as you need. If the situation is an emergency it is handled immediately.

Every time our Dakota has been sick Dr. Cordova has been there to save him; Dakota was about to lose his ability to walk and thanks to Dr. Cordova he didn’t, and was able to overcome many health issues; he is now a healthy dog. Dr. Cordova and his staff are amazing, they always take good care of him, and I can’t thank them enough for all the times that they have helped us. I have been at other veterinarian clinics before knowing about Animal Health Center at Weston, and I know that Dr. Cordova’s and staff’ dedication and professionalism are superior. Thank you for always been in the best disposition to take care of Dakotita!!!

I have had animals all my life, and now I have been bringing my cats to Dr. Cordoba not only because he is an excellent Doctor but perhaps as important he is unlike other veterinarians most concern with the well being of the animal and his owners rather than with the income they might receive..... He has helped me with wild ducks, feral cats and other creatures in trouble. I had one wonderful cat that had FIV and died and Dr. Cordoba was great, very compassionate and helped me throughout that so hoorible time.... I cant say enough about Dr. Cordoba, he is great, a Doctor with a big heart!!!
