Ive searched for a respectable vet since Ive moved down here from NYC. In the past 3 years I would drive my cats up to my old vet in NY twice a year for their check-ups. Well , 3 months ago my vet in NY closed his practice due to medical reasons..... I have searched far and wide for a vet I felt actually cared about the animals, and not just about the money, a family place, a comfortable place, a place that doesnt charge you $200 in advance to see a supposed "vet" who doesnt even actually see your animal. Three days ago my little boy (Cat) started developing a nasty cough, I called about 12 places until I found South Kendall. I was Impressed right away! In practice for over 30 years, Verified doctors credentials, and a unbelievably polite staff over the phone.... YES they make APPOINTMENTS!!! I made my appointment, and filled out my new patient paperwork. Upon arrival It felt like a vets office, very professional, animal orientated, and most of all CLEAN! I was seen promptly, the staff was amazing from the receptionists, to the vet techs, to the actual vets... Took care of my boy, and made me feel like the DO care. A little over an hour later I walked out with a diagnosis, a check up appointment, medications in hand, and sense of relief that my baby was going to be okay.. You have earned a client for life... Thank You guys so much for taking care of my little guy..

My 3 month puppy had a accident. She broke her foot. I called South Kendall Animal Hospital at 740pm. I was on the phone holding 10 minutes before I hung up and called back. While calling back I drove to the office. I arrived at 755pm, 5 minutes before closing time. I was referred to the emergency room because they closed at 8pm. I begged for them to exam my puppy. They told me since it was already 8pm, it would be $125 just for a examination and I still would be sent to a emergency room. I could not believe how I was being treated. I live in Colonial. Ive taken my cat there several times. I took my puppy to Animal Welfare Society. They only charged $25 for a emergency office visit the same day at 11pm. I will never go back to South Kendall when their are places like Animal Welfare Society that care about the animal, their family members and is reasonable.

Great support staff & Vets, they explain everything carefully and clearly and walk you through the decision making processes for your pets care. How I wish the pets could speak but we have to for them and the Docs & staff there will too. Ive been taking my rescue dogs there for years, Buttercup a 55 lb Hound Mix is now 14 yrs 5 mos and is well cared. Roxy our 13+ Yr Black Lab mix also lived a long and vital life with their cafre. Unfortunately she passed earlier this year after fighting cancer for over a year with this Vets care & guidance & was honorably & lovingly treated when she passed. They are great and now theres 3+Yr old Mia, another rescue of we have no Idea her breed, my daughter found her by the Miami River abandoned at about 2 weeks old.

I am here to tell you that South Kendall Animal Hospital is by far the best in south Miami. I have been going to them for 11 years and Dr Pane and Dr Faulkner are the BEST and along with Amy and the rest of the staff at reception area. They always go the extra mile in making sure my dog is up to date on all his shots and what ever else he needs. When i have to get test done Dr Pane will call me personally to tell me what the results are. When I had to put down my 14 year old Yellow Lab, Dr Pane and his staff was right there with me through my grieving. It was a very hard time for me and i even got a card with the whole staff name and little notes. I now have a new dog and i continue to go to South Kendall Animal Hosp.

I have been going to South Kendall Animal Hospital for about 6 years now for my dog and Dr. Pane is the best!! He is always able to find out what is wrong with my dog when I have to bring him in, and he is wonderful about calling me back if I call about a concern. He truly loves the animals that come in and is always able to make them feel better :) I have also seen Dr. Weir a few times when Dr. Pane isnt available, and she is wonderful too. It is also affordable unlike other veterinary hospitals I have gone to in the past. I highly recommend taking your animals here!

Best vets office we have ever taken our pets to. Skilled, quality care and genuine concern seem to come standard at this vets office. It is so rare to find any medical office (for animals and humans alike) that actually takes time to so thoroughly evaluate a patient. Thank you, Dr. Pane, for going the extra mile and doing everything possible to diagnose and treat our pet parakeet. Thank you for being understanding and compassionate with such a tiny patient. We are very grateful.

I had a very good experience with South Kendall Animal Hospital. Dr. Theresa Weir was very patient with my many questions regarding a procedure needed for our dog, Foxy. Her attitude of compassion and her explanations in plain language put me at ease. The procedure went well and I was pleasantly surprised to get a follow up call the next day asking how the dog was doing. Definitely better customer service than Ive ever gotten from a human doctor! :)

Ive been here twice: First time to take in a stray I found with a broken leg. They were kind and helped me with pricing considering it wasnt my dog. The second time I took my own dog to get looked at since he had bloody stools and kept complaining--probably due to discomfort-- Dr. Theresa Weir was awesome, she gave me options and was so kind to both my dog and me. I will definitely continue visiting this clinic.

Dr. Jutte, Erica, Samantha and the rest of the staff were very helpful, caring and attentive during Gingers first visit this past Monday. Dr. Jutte took the time to perform a through exam, to ask questions about Gingers medical history, and to answer all of our questions regarding Gingers treatment and care. My wife and I felt assured that Ginger will receive great care at the South Kendall Animal Hospital.

Dr. Pane is excellent. He does research for my dogs Mast cell cancer. He lets me email him with updates and questions. He takes his time with her and with me. Very positive. Works with his clients regarding treatment choices. Would not go anywhere else. Staff is excellent, cheerful and helpful. I also saw Dr. Weir who was excellent as well I recommend South Kendall Animal Hospital very highly

We have been clients of Dr. Pane and SKAH since 1983. They stuck by the community after Hurricane Andrew and didnt run away, like many others did!!! He is the kindest and most patient doctor I have ever met. He loves his job and loves his patients ever more!!! Too bad theres not more people doctors like him!!!

The staff and Dr where very nice and comforting. They also treated my pet very well and were able to do It in a short period Of time. They took us in right away without an appointment and where up front with prices before starting any treatment. I would refer them to a friend.
