I have had many dentists in the past and take very good care of my teeth. After recently moving to Tampa, I was given new dental insurance and nobody could give me dentist recommendations for that insurance. I picked Dr. Patrino because frankly every other dentist accepting my insurance had terrible reviews online. Thats no way to pick a dentist! Luckily, my experience with Dr. Patrino was awesome. My insurance covered 100% and nobody tried to upcharge me on various unnecessary dental services. Dr. Patrino agreed with me that some procedures I was recommended in the past are unnecessary. My hygienist Donna did an awesome job cleaning my teeth--virtually painless and very thorough. My only complaint is that they absolutely require a credit card number in your file for automatic billing in case you end up owing anything after insurance. If you are not willing to leave your credit card or do not have a credit card, cash is required up front all services.

The used car salesman of the dental world. It had been a couple of years since my last cleaning, but I take exceptional care of my teeth on my own. I do not smoke, drink coffee, etc. They tried to charge me $400 for "Stage 3 Periodontal Cleaning". Of course, my insurance does not cover this special cleaning and they refused to clean my teeth any other way. I felt like I walked onto a used car lot and sold undercarriage sealant. It was highway robbery so I walked out. A friend of mine referred me to her dentist, Nathan Miller, and was given an A+! No cavities, no outrageous plaque build up, and certainly not the periodontal disease I was shamed with at Hyde Park. It is medical "professionals" like this that make ordinary patients so distrustful. We go to our doctors and assume that they are keeping our best interests at heart. This was not the case at Hyde Park Dental. Shameful

So far i have had a horrible experience with this dentist. I was told i has a temporary fix to my 2 front teeth for almost 200 and it lasted 2 days. I then went back and was told i needed 2 crowns and instead of taking an impression then they put 2 temps on and said to come back in a week. Then they told me i had to pay an extra 100 to reinforxe the temps and xome back in a week but then the temp came off after 2 days and I have now left the dentist a message demanding the 100 extra xharge be removed and why the process was being done this way in the first place. I have given them 600 and i have i missing tooth and a temp on that will likely fall off. WORST dental ezperience ever.

When the Doctors obtain their final Certificate they take an oath to serve the humanity but where as they become greedy for money. This dentist is not exception. I asked him to fix back my crown which got uprooted but could not do so. I asked him to put new crown on other tooth but he came with new idea to first do the root canal and then crown so that he could make money.

Exceptional service, very comfortable atmosphere and staff. Dr.Patrinos level of skill showed while doing my fillings and repairing the work of other dentist who hadnt done a good enough job. Best dentist Ive ever been to. Id recommend him to anyone!
