I wouldnt recommend this den of iniquity to my worst enemy. I went in with tooth pain, tooth pain bad enough to overcome my irrational fear of dentists. I have not seen a dentist in over 20 years because of that. I walked into this hive of scum and villainy and initially thought. Hey, this place is pretty good. The dental assistants were nice, and my x-rays went off with out a hitch, and had constant assurance that I was in good hands. Then I was sat in an exam room, and the dental hygienist was calming, reassuring, and pleasant, even with her medieval torture device skewering my gums. But still, my phobia was held in check, and she constantly assured me that everything would be all right. Yes, I am essentially a 44 year old baby. It was at this point that my visit became a nightmare of greed and corporate money grabbing. The "Dentist", at least I think he was, he never introduced himself, but he was wearing a long white coat, so I will just assume it was him, came in on his cell phone having a very animated conversation with someone. He began flipping through whatever paper work was concealed behind me, and then quickly left the room to go check on someone else. A few minutes later he returned to the room, and shoved a mirror in my mouth and quickly told me I had 2 cavities and a broken tooth (no duh!). He asked if I wanted the tooth capped, which I said no to, because the tooth had been broken for 6 years, and never really caused any problems. I would rather just have it extracted (only a $64 dollar job vs. $2000 which I dont think made him happy). He then began telling me how foolish I am because I have a fear of dentists. I started to tell him why, but his phone rang, and he dashed out of my room. When he returned, he said my biggest problem was the periodontal disease, of which HAD to be done first, and he would have the Office Manager help me with it. This translated into "Im not here to help you with your tooth pain, Im here to rape you of $2000 that the office manager can finance for you." I will spend the rest of my life telling anyone who will listen to not go to this careless, corporate entity that hates their patients and loves their money.

I hate dentists as a normal. Tooth pain is the worst. So I had a tooth ache and was new to the area here in Florida. I went to a dentist that could take me in same day as my tooth hurt. That dentist charged me 200 dollars and just looked at my tooth and said I needed to leave out my partial I had which was only 2-3 yrs old and aid it wasnt made correctly and needed a new one and it was putting too much pressure on my tooth that hurt. Oh he did take one X-ray and said no infection. So I paid that bill for him to look and my tooth still hurt again a week later. Made an appointment at Aspen dental next as they had a free exam and X-rays so I thought well Ill get a second opinion. Didnt go here first as it did take awhile to get an appointment. So went in and what a group of nice people. Everyone I talked to was so nice and helpful. I did t wait long at all in the waiting room. Had a full set of X-rays which was a lot of them, more than I ever had in my life. I wear two sets of partials currently. This dentist came in and looked around and said that tooth hurt because the bone under it was deteriorating and it was putting pressure now on the nerves. He also looked at the partial and said that was a new design and nothing wrong with it. He also found two more teeth that needed to come out because that bone was starting to deteriorate also and the longer you leave them in the more it will ruin that bone. So I was so happy to have a couple of choices on what I can do with getting a new set of partials or have a full set of dentures made for just the top. They took me to another person to talk about prices and showed me all choices. So I was so happy to know all choices and let me decide which one I wanted. They gave me all pros and cons of each one. Didnt pressure me into most expensive choice at all. Greatest place I have ever gone to and I am over 50 yrs old. Will go back when I can afford this and break down my treatment into parts so I can afford each step as now insurance. Would recommend this place at least go for the first free visit nothing to lose. You will stay as a Patient for life.

The staff at your Inverness office was delightful. They were extremely welcoming at the front desk. Afterwards Jessica was able to answer all our insurance questions satisfactorily. What she did not know she promised to call back with the answer and she did that same day. I will recommend this office any day to anybody that might ask. On the other hand the Springhill office staff were very rude and not helpful at all. I first set up an appointment and asked that they call me back prior to the appointment to let me know what the cost with my insurance would be. The appointment was set up for Tuesday, the day after Memorial Day weekend. They then call me Friday at 1:20 pm as a "reminder" call for the appointment. When I asked them to please let me know what my out of pocket cost would be they told me it was after closing hours and they did not know if they could get back to me with the answe. I told them that if I did not get a call back they can cancel my appointment. I got a call a few minutes later telling me that they could not take my insurance after I was told by my insurance that they could. I told them to please allow me to put them on speaker phone so that my husband can explain this misunderstanding. At this point I was disconnected and never got a call back After this was when I called your Inverness office which not only accepted my insurance but were very helpful. Since then I have seen the oral surgeon there who was very knowledgeable and was able to put me very at ease with the treatment. Kudos on your Inverness office

The practice seemed to be very clean and the office staff were extremely friendly. The equipment was state-of-the-art from what I could tell. So why 3-stars? The day I went the staff seemed a bit unorganized and I had to wait in the waiting room and in the dentist chair for quite some time for my "free new patient exam". Also the x-ray was not working correctly and the exam was considered complete even though they could not all get all the images they needed for a true evaluation and no offer to complete them at a later date. The business manager fully explained what the costs would be for a follow up cleaning, which I liked since I do not have dental insurance. They also have a policy that they will not charge any more than their estimate. Another plus! But all that said, Im a bit hesitant to make this my dentist of choice since it seemed more like a "business" focused on the bottom line than a medical practice. The dentist seems to be over worked for the volume of patients that they need to make this setup profitable so the doctor has little time for any interaction with the patient. In, out, next one, please.
