I am a rather "anxious" dental patient, and have always had some fear of choking when I get dental work done. Dr. Scott Weninger was able to see me when I made an appointment to have a filling repaired. There are two BIG things that put me off from seeing a dentist regularly. First, is my anxiety, and second is the "upsell" - I opted for nitrous oxide sedation to take care of the filling/crown. A-1 experience - no anxiety, and actually, once the numbness wore off, I was not even sore. The second turn-off to me is up-selling. I was aware when I went in for the broken filling that the tooth in question probably would need a crown....Dr. Weninger agreed that it could use a crown, but there was no pressure. I felt that I was almost talking HIM into it... Overall, if you are an anxious patient in the dentist chair, or feel a bit minimized when the dentist talks about what you need, go to this Dr. I have never written a review for ANYTHING before, but when I was telling some friends about this experience, they suggested that other people might like to know what this Dentist is like. My procedure was on a Friday, and the Dr. called me at home on Saturday from his cell phone, to make sure that i was doing well and that I knew they had an after-hours number to call if there was a problem. I hit the jackpot!

Thank you for being awesome at what you do and enthusiastic. Dr. Michelle has incredible bedside manner as a healthcare professional. She will stay with you, educate you with the labs on what is going on, and always greets you with a smile. She treats you like a person and spends plenty of time with you to care for your teeth. I never felt "ditched" as I have in the past with previous dentists, they will never leave you behind or forget about you. Ive also been to other dentists who spend 2 minutes with you to double check and leave, which is not the case here, both are amazing and will personally spend time with you and do not appear to be in any rush. They are both kind and appear to care very much about your well being and that you understand what is being done and why. Also, I very much appreciate that you took me in as a new patient when I had a massive gum swelling from lodged food, even though I was not part of your practice at the time. You took the time to help someone out who was not part of your practice, the day of, and you did not know if I would join.. but the office still squeezed in time to schedule me even though they are busy. Thank you.

I found Weninger Dentistry through ratings on Google. Great experience. The business staff was helpful and friendly. The Dr was informative and took time to explain the x-rays. The hygienist understood limitations related to TMJ and allowed plenty of time for me to rest during the cleaning. My appt was at 10:50 ... and I was called back at 10:50! Amazing considering some Drs seem to treat the patient as if we are expendable. Another great thing about this practice is the treatment staff consist of the Dentist and the Hygienist. That means that you do not have someone different doing x-rays and then another person charting/assisting the dentist. It makes the service more personal. This practice understands that every patient has a choice and their commitment to excellence is reflected in their actions from the minute you arrive. Bravo! Shelley

What a great experience at Weninger Dentistry - I was looking for a new Dentist after recently moving closer to South Tampa and heard good things about Weninger. I went in for a routine check-up and cleaning, and could not have been more impressed by the service and friendliness of all members of the team. My cleaning was performed by Debbie and she was fantastic. I met with Dr. Scott for a final check-up - he is the most personable Doctor I have ever had the pleasure of working with, and his professionalism was beyond outstanding. The office was extremely clean and comfortable as well. I did not receive any treatments aside from a routine cleaning, but I would absolutely recommend Weninger for all your dental needs based on my experience.

I received a referral from a coworker who had nothing but great things to say. Her referral along side excellent online reviews had me feeling at ease. I was seeking a new dentist / second opinion due to previous dentist adding on all sorts of costs and procedures. I am pleased with Dr. Scotts options (a filling or a crown, with the understanding I may need a crown in the future) for care on one of my molars. I didnt feel pressure to choose one procedure over the other and Dr. Scott explained everything to me satisfactorily (my previous dentist would just come in and say "you need a crown" without explanation or explanation). I havent decided which procedure Ill get yet, but I have no doubt I will have great, gentle care.

If youre looking for great Dentists in Tampa...Dr. Michelle and Dr. Scott Weninger are the answer to pain free dentistry! From the minute you walk in their office, their professional, caring staff is there to greet you and make you feel at ease. I have had very positive results with teeth bleaching from Dr. Michelle, she is very conscientious and takes her time explaining the procedure along the way . My custom teeth whitening trays were a perfect fit and the take home whitening gel is really helpful for at home maintenance. Dr. Scott has replaced several of my dental crowns and has done an amazing job! They look perfect, and Im very happy!! Cant say enough about my awesome dentists, they come highly recommended!

It was the best dentist visit experience Ive ever had. All high technology, very clean office, extremely attentive staff. Dr. Weninger explained in detail all the work to be performed and showed me with the xrays where my problem areas were. At no point did I feel the least of discomfort or pain. I did ask for sedation, and to tell you the truth I think I could have done without it. Having been to other dentists, discomfort and pain are always present. I am fully satisfied and will be returning to their practice for all my dental needs from now on! Well, all, except when I need toothpaste, mouthwash, or floss! :) 5 stars all the way!!

Dr. Scott and Dr. Michelle are amazing! When I was new to the area I found them based on reviews and theres a reason everything written about them is positive. Ive probably had 7-8 different dentists over the years and they are head and shoulders above anyone Ive seen in terms of customer service and quality of work. Very consultative and understanding, you can tell they truly care about their patients and take the time to explain what theyre doing and what your options are. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new dental care provider and in the 2 years Ive been going there every experience has been great!

Most of us dislike going to the dentist. Weninger makes the experience as pleasant as humanly possible, and always reassures me that the dental care Im receiving is the best, the latest, the most compassionate, and the most professional. The staff always seem to remember me, both as a patient and a person. Im never a "number." Price-wise, the care at Weningers is reasonable and I never feel Im being urged to have expensive or unnecessary procedures, but only those that are advisable to help me keep healthy teeth and gums for life. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a dentist!
