The ONLY reason Im giving more than 1 star is because I truly like Dr. Sams. She is very nice and has always done a great job. The staff, however, are extremely rude and unorganized. I brought my newborn daughter there for the first time in February. I was still trying to get my insurance in order, so I paid cash ($91) each visit for 3 or 4 visits. Once I got my insurance fixed, I never got refunded. When my daughter was 6 months old, she had an allergic reaction to eggs and broke out into hives. This was the day before her well care visit. As a new parent, I was terrified. Dr. Sams put my mind at ease, she looked (literally just did a visual check) and declared she was fine. She then said we could go ahead and make this her well care visit. I was pleased that I didnt have to come back the next day. THEN I got a bill in the mail for her "Allergic Checkup" for $45. Are you kidding me? She didnt do ANYTHING different from a normal well care? When I spoke to the office about this ridiculous charge, the office manager agreed to take it off (after about 10 minutes of arguing) and rushed me off the phone. I was trying to ask a question. She kept saying "bye, bye bye bye bye bye" talking over me. SO RUDE and this wasnt the first time they gave me such an attitude. I cancelled my daughters next well care visit. I will not be back to this office ever again. If you want to deal with unbelievable rude staff, this is your place.

What a wonderful experience! Our kids have been going to Dr. Rosenthal since they were born, and we couldnt be happier! We love that they always see a doctor and that the practice feels cozy (NOT like a large, corporate office). My kids feel like they have a special relationship with Dr. Rosenthal, which we really appreciate. In addition to paying attention to our kids needs, Dr. Rosenthal always takes the time to explain things to us, and as a parent I always feel well-informed after talking to him. What could possibly be more important as a parent dealing with a sick child? We went to see Dr. Sams (his daughter) once when he was not available -- the apple doesnt fall far from the tree! She was absolutely phenomenal- we were blown away by her warmth and her fun personality. Since that first experience we have actually been seeing both doctors (depending on who is available) and its working out great! We would highly recommend both Dr. Sams and Dr. Rosenthal. Theyre the best around as far as were concerned!

I have 4 children ranging from 19yrs to 12 yrs of age. Dr Rosenthal has been with my kids since they were born, he has always been very good with them. Never hesitated to help with any of my concerns. My Oldest had gotten spinal menagitis at 6 months Dr Rosenthal treated him For every type of strain until he was cured, couldnt have asked for a better Dr. Know when Dr. SAMs joined the staff we were switched to her and she is so very awesome I love love love her. She understands the children and especially since they are all teens. She treat us like family she was very involved With my childs learning disabilities calling the school talking with school official. She is just awesome always give the best care and never hesitated to let me Come in office same day for any emergency issues. They are just the best. I live in Dade City and still drive to Tampa because she is the best pediatrician my kids have had and the office visits are quick. Love You Guys, Alisha

Warning: Dr. Stanley Rosenthal, I thought at first he would be a great Dr. for my two boys. I took my 10 year old in for having a cough, he prescribed the nessesary medications and I paid a copayment. Then I received a bill above our copayment, in the mail for something that he did not even do. Come to find out his wife is the office manager and she submits claims in that is considered billing fraud. I called insurance BCBS, and they stated that it is really hard to fight these doctors that submit false information. They are not worth the trouble and money to fight in court. This happend two times, and I just found a new Dr. in our area. And their office stinks, I cant figure out the smell I would feel nausious the few times I went in there. The office staff is not all that great, The nurse was awesome though, I think she deserves better.

Dr. Sams was my pediatrician growing up and she always took great care of me and explained things so both my mother and I could understand. She is now my Daughters pediatrician and nothing has changed, she is still very informational and nice. My daughter absolutely loves her. I like their new location and i never had a problem with their old one. It doesnt matter how an office looks, as long as the Doctors are good and treat you right... Maybe it wasnt the Doctors that were being rude maybe some of the time these fussy parents make an experience worse by being childish themselves. If their practice wasnt good then they wouldnt be open.

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Sams since 2005. She has a fabulous demeanor and is great with my daughter. She was also concerned enough about my daughter and the medical treatment she was receiving from her psychiatrist that she called him personally to discuss my daughter and her treatment plan. As a parent you always hope you are doing the right thing by your children, but having Dr. Sams there to advocate for you and your child leaves you feeling as though you are not alone. It takes a village and I am grateful to have her in my corner.

Dr. Monica Sams is amazing! We had the good providence to be introduced to her during our hospital stay with our newborn. She was the on-call pediatrician and we loved her from the start. Our baby is 1 month old and has had myriad issues (nothing serious thank God) and Dr. Sams has seen us without hesitation every time. She is caring, compassionate, knowledgeable and listens to all our concerns. She has even called us at home to check on our baby. I cant recommend her enough. She treats our child like it were her own. Thanks, Dr. Sams!

I have Dr. Rosenthal for both my sons. He sat down with us for about an hour and explained and listened to everything for both my kids. I usually have doctors in a rush to leave,or see us for 3 minutes in and out but he sat down with us and took his time. You can tell he geniually loves his job and he is so knowledgeable. The nursing staff was so kind and on top of eveything. I am beyond pleased with the care that my boys received and am excited to keep them here.

I didnt like how the doctor treat my kids! He is strange! Office dont like the smell. Secretary is rough, they gave an appointment for two weeks after, was trying to call them to cancel the appointment, call never went through (they never answer the phone), and now I received a $25 bill. The only person nice was the nurse!

Dr Sams and Dr Rosenthal are awesome. Dr. Sams has been my daughters pediatrician since her birth in 2011. We drive all the way from Riverview now, because the level of care they provide is unmatched. Dr. Rosenthal is great, he treats the child as an extension of his family and I wouldnt think of changing pediatricians.
