When I took my daughter to dr. Ks office on Saturday June 4th she had a fever of 102.4 shed had the fever since Friday. When I arrived on Saturday at 10:32 my appointment was for 10:30, I was seen to get her weight and check her temperature between 10:45 and 10:50 her temperature at that time was 102.3 they put me in a room where I waited to see the doctor by 11:05 I spoke to Myra the assistant mananger to see how much longer before the doctor would see her she told me that they had a feel in doctor and she was taking longer than regular doctor would but she would have them bring some Tylenol. Once the doctor came into the room they did the normal check-up routine. The doctor said her ears were fine and that she was well hydrated so, she asked if theyre were any other symptoms I informed them that she had been sleeping slot and crying more but other then that she still was eating and peeing fine. The doctor then said "due to the fever she may have an infection one of the three infection she could have had would leave a rash once the fever breaks however im not saying she has that particular infection."I asked if she would be able to run a test to see what infection it was she said "no, there are too many infections to test for it would be months before you found out what it was. "She told me to buy Motrin and they gave me a paper with the dosage. At that point they then gave her the medicine for her temperature. I left the office at 11:30 and she still had a fever. On Sunday June 5th I took her to the ER at St. Joseph children because she still had a fever the doctor stated that due to the prolonged fever it was likely an UTI they ran a test and found that she did have a urinary track infection they prescribed antibiotics and stated to use with Motrin as needed for the fever when I told them Id been giving her 1.25ml they said I was under dosing her which is why the fever would not break she needed 2ml which is what they gave her. In the end my issue is that the doctor not only double spoke about what the issue may be with my child she in essence didnt even diagnose her. With them sending her away with such a high temperature it could have caused other serious issues.

We have been with Dr k since 2005 he is absoutly the best Dr around. He always listens and answers all questions you have and never rushes you out of the room. When you have any after hours emergencices he calls you back immediately. Dr K. has recently brought on a physician assistant Dr Kober, who we have seen numerous times, but this week alone we have had to see him 2 times for my daughter and have to go see him again on Saturday for her recheck, the amount of time and caring he has had for my daughter this week alone has been amazing, he is a wonderful addition to your practice Dr K. It is nice to know that if Dr K can not see my children, that Dr Kober is just as amazing as Dr K. His staff has always been amazing, I never have a problem getting same day appointments. I have refered many friends and family to Dr K. and will continue to do so. I trust Dr K. and Dr Kober with my children and the attention they give are just what I want.

I highly recommend Dr. Ks office! I have been taking my children to Dr. K for probably 12 years. My oldest was so sad when she turned 18 and Dr. K could no longer be her doctor! My other 2 children love Dr. K and feel so comfortable with him. When they are sick they look forward to seeing him because they always leave his office feeling better! He always talks to them, not only about whatever illness they may have at the time, but also about what is going on in their lives. Dr. K, his wife and his staff have always been very caring towards my family. I highly recommend Dr. Ks office. We recently moved out of the area and now I must find a new pediatrician. This wont be easy, Dr. K is going to be a tough act to follow. We will miss him very much.

The lack of professionalism in the responses alone are enough to deter me from ever going here again. Most professionals would take the feedback and see it as an opportunity for improvement. Instead patients families are met with this defensive attitude. You cant tell someone what their experience was, that how they feel is a lie! Thats absurd. Take the feedback, be professional and move on. I encourage anyone who has had a negative experience to contact your insurance company and file a grievance, especially if the response was in this disrespectful, unprofessional manner. At the end of the day you are consumers who requested a service and if you arent satisfied let it be known, too many complaints and insurance will start dropping them.

I took my 3 year old son for his first appointment a couple months back, I cant complain about waiting time because it was the first appointment so, normally is the same in all offices, but the service was just bad. Very uncaring, the doctor did an exam of his genitals and did not use any gloves. Despite the fact that my son was the only child in the office since they had just returned from lunch, we were treated in a hurry, and not to be racist or anything, I could barely understand what the doctor was saying, he was trying to rush through the appointment speaking fast with a heavy accent. Worst pediatrician experience Ive had so far.

I have 4 children and we have been with Dr K for 8 years. The kids absolutely love him. My 2 yr old sees him going down the hall and just starts screaming with glee. Usually he has to acknowledge her before he can take care of his current patient. He is professional, personable, kind, funny with thechildren, and I could go on. His staff is TOPS. These women all know each of my kids by name and treat us like family. I think of Dr K and his family and staff as an extended part of my family. Dr. K has always been fantastic when servicing my children. Alexandria, Bionqa and Luis were young babies when we meet him and when we moved away he remain their doctor. He has always been professional, welcoming, on target with his diagnoses. His staff has changed over numerous times but everyone has always been great! No words can express how wonderful Dr. K. is! My kids are older now 24, 19 and 17 and we still have wonderful memories of his passion for family and his work! From the bottom of my heart, we thank you and love ❤️ you and your entire family!

Dr. K has always been great to us. We have four children, who at first, had many different illnesses. We are now over the period of sicknesses and even when we have our random emergency Dr. K makes time to see us. Even when there is not much he can do, like when my son had to get stitches, he still makes time to see our children to evaluate them. He takes extra time to care for our family! Thank you Dr. K pediatrics! Dont let me forget about their friendly and awesome staff who have a ton of patience!
