I used to love and rave about Dr. Thole, I had a bad experience with one of the other Nurse practitioners so I found out to always request and book in advance for Thole. Well...back in October our youngest daughter got a staph infection so they prescribed antibiotics, called me to give me the sensitivity test (I dont normally answer since I have 3 kids and expect a message) well it turned out she had mrsa and needed to be on the stronger antibiotics (although it healed up nice so I never called back thinking they were just saying it was staph and continue same treatment...) I never got a call back and when we went in there 3 weeks later for my son since he ended up needing a dtap vaccine bc he caught his leg on a rusty nail they mentioned "oh btw your daughter had mrsa and needs the stronger antibiotics". I was SUPER UPSET about that, they shouldnt have just called one time over something pretty serious. Anyhow fast forward to this month and now my oldest daughter we had to take her into urgent care for once again.. What seemed like staph. The urgent care prescribed clndamycin which is super scary reading the labels and super strong. I asked the urgent care doc if we could wait for the sensitivity test BC I DO want to give her antibiotics but I also dont want to give her strong ones for no reason (like we did back in October with my younger daughter) well I had my husband call and ask if they normally prescribe that and if it seems safe (since I TRUST DR THOLE) well they said we would have to go in to get that answer. I explained I was 36w pregnant with my 4th and we now live 45min away and Im just simply wanting to know if it seems safe (the insert says pediatric use : system organs should be monitored during use). We decided to hold off and just wait for the initial sensitive test to come back from urgent care (need I mind you they get these results also) her staph started looking a little worse and I wanted to start her on something so we called Wee care after hours, they never returned our phone call... Well come to find out we get a letter a couple days later saying they dismissed us from their service because 1. I refused to take her in and give her the meds and 2. We complained about living too far away. I am extremely upset. They seem very money hungry and I cant understand why they couldnt just explain that clndamycin was safe for our daughter since I trust their opinion...I think its very unprofessional of them to dismiss us for those reasons and not to state that I wasnt declining taking my daughter in but I was just wanting to know what they thought based on the results from after cares culture.

You will never see Dr. Thole, even if your child is sick. Regarding vaccines, my boy was sick when he was only 3 months old and I questioned whether or not we should wait on giving the vaccines and the NP told me it was fine because he did not have a fever. They gave him 3 vaccines and he became very very sick! This place does not care about your child, only billing your insurance. I felt like they did not encourage exclusive breast feeding and there were other issues I was not satisfied with and was not over all happy with the practice so I decided to look at different pediatricians. I called the office to get a copy of his records and one of the office staff said, "If you go to another pediatrician, you cannot come back here." I felt like that was a threat since it was in a very disagreeable tone. I then said, "I would like to come by and pick up a copy of his shot records in case of emergency", and she said, "I dont have to give you anything for a week!" My response: "So my sons best interest is not priority?" which her reply, "I dont have to give you anything!" SO I told her I would be sure to write a review of my encounter with this clinic. VERY RUDE STAFF & YOU WILL NEVER ACTUALLY SEE A DOCTOR! You will not even see the doctor before administering vaccines. Dont waste your time! Unprofessional staff and absent Doctor. Im not sure what could be worse in a pediatric office.

I used to give rave reviews for her practice. I LOVE Dr. Thole, but I am never allowed to see her anymore and do not like Emily at all. She is SO antithesis to everything Dr. Thole stands for. Its like they dont even have a mission or a powwow about the same topics. Im using Dr. Tholes delayed vax schedule and still get crap about it from their other practitioners. I liked Terry and he is now leaving too. Also, I brought my son in for his well visit and he STILL did not get to see Dr. Thole. Plus, they gave him two shots and THEN proceeded to tell me its not covered in the shot program anymore and I would have to pay out of pocket $80!!!! Also, the nurse did not get the shot into the right place and he bled and swelled up from it. They dont even restock the stickers and my kids are disappointed when they leave. I do love Crystal and she has always been great. But, the direction they have been heading is not positive and I would not recommend them to anyone anymore.

Ive never felt more comfortable with a pediatrician before. Dr. Thole takes the time to listen and actually care for my son. Quite contrary to another review on here, her practice is EXTREMELY breast feeding friendly. I breastfed until my son was 3 with nothing but support. Dr. Thole is a great resource on every topic I can think of and is always reassuring me on any of my first time mom questions. I interviewed plenty of other offices before choosing Dr. Thole and she was the only pediatrician I felt like I could trust my sons health with. Even when my insurance didnt cover her visits, I paid out of pocket so I wouldnt lose such a great doctor. Thanks Dr. Thole for your great care!

Love love love Dr. Thole!!! She has been our ped for the past 2.5 years. She has a wonderful bed side manner, she is extremely personable, and very knowledgable. I dont think I would ever trust another ped the way I trust her. I love that she allows YOU (the parent) to be in charge of your childs health. She is not pushy and has a wide range of knowledge about natural remedies, which I REALLY like. You do have to schedule your appts in advance to see Dr. Thole instead of one of the other practitioners there bc she is in such high demand. But I have seen her every time Ive gone in for a last minute sick visit as well. Shes great!! I highly recommend her!

Dr.Thole cared for my children for years but turned on me one day after her evil, unprofessional sister and I had an exchange over her cold, uncaring attitude towards my son being seen immediately. Even after years of great care and knowing me, she had Evie kick me out of the practice and couldnt even face me herself. It was really not that serious of an exchange her sister and I had but it showed how unprofessional all of them are in the end. I was just a concerned, scared, young mother trying to get care for my son and they couldnt understand that. Anyhow, I am with a great practice now with no family drama and couldnt be happier! :)
