A Pleasant Experience - In spite of it all! Dental visits are not my preferred form of pastime. I dont visit dentists for relaxation or for pleasure. In fact, for reasons probably hidden in my youth, I associate dental visits with horror movie torture scenes. So I went off to my first visit to the offices of "Your Desired Smile" with very low expectations. I expected a sadistic doctor surrounded by sanguinary assistants reminiscent of communist Siberian concentration camp guards... all eager to get the drills going and snicker as I sweated and quivered, trapped in a restraining chair. When I was greeted with a wide smile and friendly hello, I said to myself, "Hah! Its a trap! But they wont fool me! Im ready to run!" I was asked to enter the treatment area shortly after the appointed hour. My tension must have been palpable. The dental assistant assigned to me was surprisingly courteous. Her instructions were perspicuous, and I was able to follow them to the letter. I sat on the appointed chair, and although I had a lingering feeling that I was being laid in a catafalque, I noted that the friendliness and lack of asperity of the people was having the effect of assuaging my fictive thoughts. The doctor arrived, performed a thorough examination and discussed the results thoroughly with me. He was definitely NOT a fanéant. My specific treatment program was established and, convinced that it was the most appropriate course of action, I gave it my imprimatur. My faith in dentistry having been redintegrated, I went to my subsequent appointments with considerable avidity. Based on my experience, and my desire to abjure any ambagious language, I unconditionally recommend Your Desired Smile to anyone desiring professional, high quality services in the field of dentistry.

Dr. Luis A. Alicea is one of the best dentist that I’ve seen lately in the Tampa Bay Area. His dedication with his patients and the time that he takes to explain step by step, whatever you have or whatever procedure has to be done to the patient, makes the difference in how peaceful and confident you feel with the doctor and his experience. Dr. Luis has an incredible staff, that makes your time at the office super pleasant. In spite of the fact that the office is on an outstanding environment, clean, fresh, with amenities to calm a sudden hungry. Bathroom extremely clean and the office with the latest high end technology in his Prosthodontics Specialist . All procedures that Dr. Luis Alicea provides are completely done in house, at the office, with no need to be transfer to other facilities or to be referred to any other doctor or specialist. These are the nicest people and the best dentist office Ive ever been to. It was such a pleasant experience to visit this office from how kind and inviting the whole staff was to Dr. Alicea who took his time answering my questions and explaining things in depth to me. I was seriously shocked at how amazing this office was. I told my husband I couldnt believe the exceptional service of these people because you just dont find this anymore anywhere. Normally at any Drs office I feel rushed and like a number but with this office you genuinely feel heard and appreciated! I had my two young sons with me when I went to the office and one of my sons left his baby at the office and I accidentally called Dr Alicea after hours and he not only immediately answered but was so kind and understanding about my situation and said he was always available. I was shocked because this is not my common experience with any Dr! Truly exceptional people and service! I live in Lakeland but will be making this commute from now on for my dental needs!

We have a disabled autistic adult with chronic epilepsy who suffered an accident and damaged 3 of his front teeth... Dr. Alicea restored his teeth with such an amazing patience with our son that no words would descrive the gratitude we have for his warm care... Love the clean office, the high technology and up to par, wonderful staff - very loving, caring, compassionate friendly yet family oriented... The care and the concern that was give to our son, made the difficult process a less stressfull one. The staff made us feel part of the team as we worked together for the benefit and comfort of our son... I dont wish to ever have to endure the process again, but if i needed it ever again.... They are my #1 choice. I want to thank the entire staff for all their love and care. I want to thank Dr Alicea for being such an amazing doctor and human being. He took my 4 impacted wisdom teeth out last month. It was done on a Friday and the following Tuesday I was almost recovered. My experience with the IV sedation was exellent. I do not remember anything from my surgery thanks to the medicine that Dr Alicea put me intravenous.He explains and answers me the tons of questions that I always have for him. He does not like to hide anything. There is never a hidden fee because he does not let you sign the consent forms for the planed treatment until you fully understant the whole procedure. I am not scared to the dentist anymore because going to Your Desired Smile feels like staying home, I can watch my favorite movies on Netflix while the chair is giving me a great massage. I recomend this office to anyone on a heart beat.

Excellent Overall Experience! Ive been seeing Dr. Alicea for about a year now per recommendation of a friend after relocating from the Dallas, Tx area. Hes treated my wife with a major procedure, my 6 year old and even my 2 yr old! Every time I visit them they exceed my expectations. Aside from the fact the entire staff treats you like family, and the state of the art facilities, what matters is the actual dental treatment. After all, thats what is all about, right? Dr. Alicea is very meticulous and pays attention to details that most doctors would ignore due to lack of time or simply because the average patient will not notice or doesnt know any better. Hell even call you after a procedure to make sure yourre doing good. If youre looking for a new dentist, do yourself a favor and see Dr. Alicea. You wont regret it.

My experience at Your Desired Smile has always been excellent, from the moment I walk in to the moment I walk out. The staff is so kind and helpful. They always have a great attitude and are very excited to receive me. Lisbety is the assistant that helps me all the time and her professionalism is extraordinary. I can tell shes very passionate for what she does. Ive been treating my mouth for quite some time now. I went to many offices where I was never satisfied with the doctors. At Your Desired Smile is completely the opposite. Dr. Alicea is a very friendly Doctor and always explains every detail of the procedure to me. He treats his staff like family which I admire a lot. Hes seems like a humble man whos there to always help me. Im very very pleased with Your Desired Smile and Im proud to be part of their family.
