When my husbands wisdom tooth cracked, we were referred to this establishment for the oral surgeon. Just hope and pray that you are never in a situation where you are under pressure to get things taken care of quickly because it WILL NOT HAPPEN HERE. After a 10 second consultation, we were informed that their xray machine was conveniently broken and so they would just take xrays THE DAY OF THE SURGERY. I told them that this would not be acceptable since insurance needed xrays in order to preapprove the proceedure. They said that Id just have to pay for the entire thing up front (over $2k) and then just "hash it out" with my insurance company to get a refund from them. COMPLETELY unacceptable. When Ive had work done at other establishments theyve always taken care of the claims for me - Ive now spent HOURS on the phone with my insurance company - and theyre telling me what I already knew - that it is THEIR responsibility to take care of this and that since I have coverage with them as well as a contract between the insurance company and their dental group, they cant just tell me "well well just wait and see and take care of everything the day of the surgery." The whole thing feels like a fly-by-night dentistry operation. If you get a human being on the phone, youll feel like youve won the lotto. It took me TWO DAYS of calling during all different hours of operation to finally get a human being that could answer my questions (sort of). Unless you have NO OTHER option, do not go here. You should also beware of some of these supposed five star reviews - unless these people were on some sort of hallucinogenic drug during their visit, they are likely just sock puppets. This dentist was recently busted on Yelp for paying people to write positive reviews.

This is the WORST dental office I have ever been to. This is a dental CLINC people and they treat you as a client as such. The staff is .....how can I put this lightly.........let just say they are very rough around the edges very its as if they are not happy to have their jobs. My daughter and I went there for an orthdontic consultation which the consultation was suppose to be free. As soon as we walked in the door they wanted us to take a full panaramic view xrays never asked me If we had this xray done already as most insurance companies only allow one panaramic veiw xray every three years. I refused the xray and it was all down hill from there. The staff was PISSED that I refused the full panaramic view xray ( I through a monkey wrench in their money train ) and told me " That maybe I should not be there" ..The Orthodondist would not come into the exam room and talk to me about it.I was shocked and appalled as first off this is a free consultation regarding braces and you want me to get a full panaromic view xrays that I already have had within the window of my insurance benefit, which would have meant that I would have been charged for that xray. (hence they get you in on the free consultation and then perform unneccessary (Ialready had the full view xray done this year) services so they can bill your insurance and charge you. If you have any standards for the professionals who care for your teeth then you have been warned this is a CLINIC with a CLINIC mentality. Its all about how much they can rack on the fees before you realize what has just happened......BEWARE... Had I known this was a CLINIC I would have never gone !!!!

I wish I could give this place negative stars. Worst medical office I have ever been in. The longest wait possible for the worst possible service. I was scheduled for a root canal with the Endodontist. When she showed up, she treated me like a piece of garbage. She then said she refused to do it and that the tooth needed to be extracted. She then proceeded to shuffle me out of the room and send me to the front desk to schedule an extraction without one single person taking the time to explain why, the cost, and my options for further treatment seeing as an implant would be needed instead of a crown. I felt like I was bait and switched. She also proceed to tell me that they needed to recheck my teeth with the small cavities as they probably needed root canals as well (even though the dentist from my initial visit said that they were nothing to worry about.) If your doctors are going to counter diagnose people and have an awkward discussion, it certainly should never be done in front of that person like they arent even there. Should I mention the phone call I placed to have my money refunded which when I called today (2 1/2 weeks later) still had not been done. I cant even say enough bad things about this experience. I wouldnt send my dog in here to have his teeth cleaned.

Unfortunately, I can not give a good review at all. The advertisement on the radio said nothing has changed. That is completely incorrect, the last review I wrote was when it was Gentle Dental and it was regarding the great service, how they went the distance to help. However, when my insurance changed and I tried to make an appointment it was not showing up. So I made the calls to the insurance company and received direction on what to do for Sage. After talking to them for the third time, they said give them a couple of days, it has been 2 weeks. I thought they might want the business I was looking for a bridge, vainer, check up and cleaning. I guess they do not need the business, myself and my other 7 family and a few friends will not be returning. Just a heads up, simple service goes a long way.

GENTLE DENTAL said I needed: 2 fillings taken out and redone because of a crack - and I had degeneration between teeth, so it would probably need a crown. TOTAL $700 (approx) - remember I was going in as a new patient. Went to our family dentist ( I tried to save myself the hour trip) - he said my teeth are textbook and the pain is coming from brushing to hard and having referred pain from some sore gums (oh, and apparently the jaw pain is from grinding my teeth). TOTAL $75 My story isnt isolated (as I found out talking to friends today) - apparently get a few K out of the new patients is part of their business plan ... STAY AWAY! LET THIS BE A LESSON!

Horrible service. Dr. Ortega is very nice and some of the staff members are great but unfortunately I had to go back 5 times to get my crown put in correctly and I also had a filling which still hurts to this day. They gave me a special toothpaste and said the discomfort would dissipate but it is still there. Also, I have always used a different dentist and always had my insurance covering cleanings. They tell me I need a deep cleaning and I paid extra, a lot extra. Same thing with my husband and he is ready to go elsewhere which I will do once I get that paid dental cleaning done (still has not been completed).
