I have been seeing Dr. Akhtar for several years now and she is my favorite dermatologist! I see her multiple times/year. I highly recommend her. She is always busy but never rushes through an appointment. She is very proactive and gentle with her procedures. She truly cares about her patients and always makes time for them in emergency situations. I ❤ her because she is awesome!

Spent 5 minutes in the room to prescribe me medicine for a condition I did not have. I still went through using the medicine and it obviously did not work. The other Dr. I went to after this visit actually fixed the problem.

Very disappointed. I asked to speak in private with her and she did not do it. She told my 7 year old how painful the treatment was going to be and make her very upset. Not profesional at all.
