Went in on an emergency after being away from for to see about getting a few contacts to get me by as this is the store i always have my eyes checked and buy my contacts i go in and after being told to just go wait over there as the girl at the front desk points to a corner of the store so i wait there to be seen spoke to or have any kind of welcome from the staff after waiting a women comes over who is new and has no knowledge of the computer system tries for five minutes looks up my name after finding it she has troble figuring out what contacts i wear and goes back and forth from the shelf to the computer to lool at numbes instead of just writing it down the first time so after awhile she brings me my box and then another lady said wait just give him a trial pair so he does not have to open the box so i would be able to drive home so i say thank you and go but in the contact so now i can see again to be able to drive myself my wife and my son home safely so after all this i have the box in my pocket the trial in my EYE i am sat down and told the price need less to say i was upset and it showed so the women goes and gets her boss when he comes over he already looks to be having a bad day he told me the price again and i said to thats crazy so at that point he tells me to take out the trial contact that is in my eye at the time the only way i would be able to safely get my family home with i told hime he could charge me for that one contact if he needs to and screamd at me if i was not buying there box of contacts i must remove the only alrady in my eye with at that time after his much unneed additude i said well fine fu@k you and took it out and thru it on his desk at that point i asked for a copy of my script so i could go somewhere else to get my contacts at with point he told me NO I WILL NOT GIVE YOU YOUR SCRIPT WITH IS 100% against the law for him to do or even say!!!!! Asked me for my I.D at with time i handed it to him and his words to me where it is you the douch bag at with time i told him who did you think it was santa claus at witch time he came around from the desk and got about 9 to 12 " from my face and asked if i had a problem with him at with time i told him he better get the hell out of my face and go get my damn paper work at with time he told me to walk to the front desk so i did he as we where walking tried to grab my arm as to escort me out at with time me made it to the front of the store and he just stode there and got in my face and keep look at me as to intemadate me at with time i told him i felt threatend my his action and if he did not back away it would be my right to stand my ground and reslove the problem with him trying to intemadate me in my personal space and the i guess the girl behind the desk with much additude asked what my problem was all this in front of a store full of people and i said all i want is for this guy to do his job and thats when she said i am the store manager and i asked her uf she had just seen or heard what happend and in her own work she said she look over was what was going on but did not feel the need to correct the action of her employees so after all this i left the store and had to drive 25miles to my place where i had a box of contacts i had bought months before and on the drive home could have wreaked my car killed my family and got a ticket all beacuse this guy wanted to poke his cheast out beacuse he was having a bad day !!!!!

Its been a hot minute since Ive had any kind of eye exam, but within the past years my dad has suffered from degenerative eye damage (including glaucoma) and a detached retina, and I have my own ongoing endocrine-related health issues, so I figured while I had a line of steady work it was time to get my eyes checked out. I was able to get a comprehensive eye exam (including an NCT and DRI) done in a relatively short timespan; I appreciated the overall friendly and comfortable demeanor of the medical staff and atmosphere of the facility, and I *really* appreciated that the staff prefers the dark room technique to naturally dilate eyes (rather than use a dilating solution that can really put a damper on the rest of the day). It was nice to be able to look at my exam results immediately and have a medical record on file that I could forward on to my PCP and to use as a baseline for future check-ups. Everyone in front-of-house/sales was absolutely wonderful, but I really appreciate Christians honesty about what frames would best suit my aesthetic and his earnest nature in helping me pick out the best frames for me. He was just the right amount of helpful without being overbearing or trying to pressure a sale and rush me out of the store. I probably spent a good half hour deliberating before I made my decision, and even still my frames were ready for pick-up within ~2 hours the same day. Since I was paying out of pocket, didnt take advantage of any of the specials and opted for one of the pricier model frames (honestly, that was my own undoing, I certainly didnt get pushed to spend more money), I racked up a pretty big sale, but even still Christian was able to bundle my services together and discount the cost of my frames just a bit. All-in-all, it was a really impressive experience as a whole and definitely exceeded my expectations for a drop-in eye check. Ill be very happy to rely on them for any of my future optometry needs.

I agree with the other assessments that their service is horrible. I visited the the "independent" optometrist and paid full price for an eye examination and contact lens prescription. I liked the doctor and felt he did a fine job but I got a really bad vibe from the high pressure sales people there, particularly the person I think was the manager. My impression was that their only goal was to get you to drop as much money as possible and frankly, the last two frames I bought there I felt like were over priced and of poor quality. I put off deciding what to do for a while and then asked the optical department at my "big box store" to price out the contacts they had prescribed. The optical department described working with them as "difficult" (they sent an out of date glasses only prescription repeatedly before sending the correct contact one) and they clearly seemed, in my opinion, to resent the fact I was price shopping them. The box store price was considerably cheaper on the lenses. I was then reading about a website on Clark Howard where I could buy eyeglasses very inexpensively and found a pair I liked and wanted to buy but get this, THE MANAGER AT 20/20 REFUSED TO GIVE ME THE PD (pupillary distance) INFORMATION FROM THE PRESCRIPTION I PAID FOR!!!!!! I guess if they cant compete on price they will just refuse to give information which is necessary for you to buy online so beware, the prescription you get for glasses there does you no good ordering online. Here is one formerly repeat customer who will never go back there.
