My daughter has been his patient before she could run. Just a toddler when I brought her in. For us as parents to find someone with experience, patience and that could do a thorough evaluation of her condition was an unnerving experience. No parent wants to see their toddler have a lazy eye and poor vision running into everything in sight trying to see things up close. We wondered if her eyes would be normal. Our precious daughter Suri was greeted by friendly staff, they welcomed us and gave me a sense of medical adept trained individuals. The Doctor came in the room that was beautifully designed to give an ambiance of a calm environment and the great relationship of an excellent and knowledgeable Doctor began with us. Yearly exams and precision calibrated glasses and evaluations have been the remedy for my daughter nine years later with nearly straight eyes. No more lazy, inward eye. No teasing or bullying will be in my daughters days ahead because Dr. Podshun deeply cared for her precious eyes. My child always remembers them with great excitement every year to see him and Pippen; the staff is most congenial and welcoming. This Doctor has made a difference in our lifes and forever will in Suris lifetime. Truly a real, highly trained and experienced Doctor.

Ive been here several times and have had nothing but great experiences. Dr. Podschun took time to talk to me about some of my options for glasses/contacts. He never seemed like he was in a hurry to finish up and move on. My first visit to him was the first I had been to an eye doctor in years and nobody made me feel guilty about it, and they were fine with giving me my prescription so I could get glasses elsewhere, they werent pushy at all. I bring my kids here, starting at age 5 and theyre wonderful with them. They explain everything and are very patient with their questions and just generally good with kids. They also performed our exams together, which was nice. Its a nice friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I would definitely recommend.

The staff was very friendly and the little dog was adorable but the doctor not only took 20 minutes to dilate my eyes after seemingly forgetting to during my exam, he only really dilated one and then checked me off (I assume without actually looking). In fact he seemed more interested in getting his lunch than anything. I ordered my contacts and specifically asked for Night and day. They are not night and day (yes I know its not recommended but lets face it, things happen.) Overall I would not recommend and do not plan on coming back.

First rate - Dr Podschun and Christine, Susan and even Pip are terrific -been going to Dr P for more years than I can count. Sometimes the wait is long but I figure Dr P. is taking his time with someone who needs it because Ive needed it in the past. I had questions recently about surgery for Retina pucker and I couldnt find anything about the post op on line - boy was it an eye opener (no pun intended) having Dr P tell me all about it One of the best medical/eye offices in this region. Dr. Podschun takes the time to make sure you understand what is going on with your eyes. He is very laid back and makes you feel very safe. He offers insight to what is going on and what steps can be taken to guard your eyesight. Everyone on his staff are extremely friendly and also make you feel relaxed. Pam in the eye glass department really has an eye to help you find the right glasses that will make you look fabulous!! I highly recommend Dr. Podschun and his staff.
