(((Simple review_ with this doctor you’re in good hands))) really a note to doctor and some staff. I am sorry for my appalling behavior today. Honesty when the one receptionist/nurse is there its always an uncomfortable environment. I had asked the doctor when her one staff member (I enjoy) works so next time I could make sure my appointment is on one of her work days. Unfortunately, she misses a lot so it wasnt possible to give a guaranteed day. After that I made a rude comment to the receptionist/ nurse that sounded as if the doctor said something she had not. My comment was on the assumption that because your co-worker misses a lot, maybe, you take on more work or hours which makes you speak in that tone to most patients. I say Most because almost every patient (phone or in person) she talks in that tone and acts a certain way,… but I had a family member also checking her eyes, I listen from the other room and the receptionist actually sounded pleasant for once. Anyways my comment came out rude because I was angry the way you talked about that elderly Korean couple with very little compassion (thats saying a lot since I dont really care about other people) but not only that talking that way to me (a patient) about potential patients (human being) is unprofessional. I do however absolutely agree it should be the primary doctor’s responsibility to direct the patients their insurance covers. But after that comment, while the others were probably mild everything else was just too much so I stormed off. Also, the doctor went above and beyond, I would of gave up, because even after getting an interpret she still didn’t seem to understand. (If only I butted out an didnt suggest a translator) As for the other nurse I asked about, she is great but it’s sad she’s not there on a consist bases, because, that’s the type of person you want when you go to any doctor’s office. Someone who very friendly and answers every one of you questions in a positive tone where it doesn’t sound like a bother. She also seems to have a very high respect for her employer and from what I have seen she also works good with the doctor and doesnt make snarky comments/statements under her breath when the doctor asks her a question in front of patients. Honestly though I believe the last time I was there a year ago, that was a problem as well, and as helpful and nice as she was, if it has been a year you really need a stable employee which is probably the receptionist I’m not keen on. Now as for the doctor I am going to keep it short - she is excellent, and always seems to be upbeat and in a good mood that’s way my rating is still 4 stars. I also want to note, I’m not positive about this, but the receptionist I am not crazy about has seemed to have to explain things to the other co-worker which by her tone wasn’t the first time she has had to show how that same thing is done (and if I read the room right that day) I feel for here there is nothing worse then your co-workers not having the basic skills for there job if that is what i picked up on. I am also sorry this isn’t really an apology. I wanted it to be but I was extremely happy today and she made my mode go 360. And if my “assessment” is true I am sorry you must go to work to that every day because it’s unfair. either way you should try harder because in your line of work it should be important to you to make sure the patients feel at ease ,comfortable, and being heard.

My friend had a hard to fit multifocal lens fitted with the doctor successfully. Sadly I could NOT deal with the poor greeting and personnel lacking basic good manners. Just went to another specialist for my Hard to fit GP lenses.

The BEST Eye Doctor I have ever had -happy to make you happy and takes all the time needed to get your eyesight perfect. An absolute doll. Do not ever retire, I would be lost.
