I have been a patient here since 2011, I would always see the PA ley,. I have never had any complaints about him or the office. Up until today, I needed a script changed to a tablet form instead of the capsule based on insurance coverage. (The original script was from the health department, since I needed other immunization based on cdc recommendations. I had been seen there) However, since ley wasnt in the office today his partner dr cochrane refused to change the script. I am leaving the country and really needed to start taking the medication prior to departure. There really wasnt any reason why the dr couldnt have done this for me as a patient in their facility. That is extreme poor customer service.. Now I have to go back to the health department which is the next town over and get this fixed.. I just think this dr really lacked empathy at this point, it takes two minutes to verify with the cdc and write a script.. He didnt even bother opening up the chart to see I had just seen ley two weeks prior for another immunization. I dont get it..

Bottom Line: go somewhere else if you want quality, personal service. Went here for some muscle pain I had been having in my chest and shoulder. They did not seem interested in me at all, and pushed me through quickly, telling me not to worry without seeming to listen to me. Finally after my own persistence, I was referred to an orthopedic doctor (who diagnosed me properly). A month later, we get a bill for the visit, saying that it wasnt covered by our insurance. We come to find out that Dr. Cochran hadnt even written about the shoulder and chest pain I was referred out for (though the referral was in the notes...), and we had been billed for a routine physical (my second of the year, hence it was not covered). Because of his poor notes and lack of paying attention to me, I am stuck with a $300 bill.

Worst customer service I have experienced in a while. I am a new patient, I filled out all of my docs ahead of time and brought them with me to the appointment. I arrived to my appointment on time, not 30 minutes ahead of schedule, as I already printed the required docs and brought them with me. I was told that its appears I was supposed to call back and advise I was definitely coming to the appointment. I am not sure why this was necessary as I already confirmed the appointment ahead of time. Also, I was scolded for not arriving 30 mins ahead of time to fill out the paperwork.........BUT I ALREADY FILLED IT OUT AND BROUGHT IT WITH ME! The receptionist advised me that I would not be seen for another hour. Needless to say I left and WILL NOT be returning to this place.

I hate that I have to give this facility even one star. I will NEVER subject myself or my family to the office staff at Tuskawilla Family Practice ever again. I don’t go to a medical practice to be treated like trash because the receptionist/office staff are having a bad day or don’t like their jobs. I wish these people could have jobs even more menial than what they’re given, maybe that would make them happy. I don’t have anything to say about the doctor’s visit itself…. It’s over shadowed by the attitude of the staff. I’m disgusted.

The worst thing about this place is the office staff. They arent knowledgeable about anything. They are always calling in, understaffed and cant even answer the phone the majority of the time. The PA-C there is awesome, which is why I continue going, but they really need to up their office and billing. They dont know whats going on and even what to print out when you are leaving. They dont know how to put a credit on your account when you pay cash and they dont have change.

Its okay here. The doctor is patient with elderly people, the reception staff has gotten a lot better over the past year or so and the office is clean.
