My daughter went to see Dr. Michaels for a problem with her knee. After a short exam, he said she needed physical therapy and even though she kept saying it was not helping, they offered no other help. After months, we had to beg for a more complete exam, and then finally he told us, "Sorry, we cant help." After months of treatment, for a young lady who had no idea she was being taken for a ride. They had her coming in every other day, until I saw the bills and started questioning the treatment. From this doctors casual attitude, compassion is not the main concern here. Go to St. Aug. Orthapaedic instead.

I dont understand why there arent more reviews published about FM Medical. The office is full of patients everytime I go. The thing I like most about this office is you are seen within minutes of your scheduled appointment and your clinicals begin within minutes of their scheduled time as well. The staff is helpful, accomodating, and express a sincere care for you and your condition throughout your visit. Other doctors could benefit greatly from this office, especially the seeing of patients on-time and the care received by this doctor and his staff. Everyone here is courteous and a true professional.

I am a 65 year old male with many health issues and dreaded establishing with a new physician after relocating to St Augustine. I could not be more pleased with the entire FM staff, especially Dr Michaels. The check-in, intake tests and medical history were accomplished efficiently by the friendly, caring staff. Dr Michaels spent a great deal of time with me reviewing my history while conducting an extensive exam, and listened to and addressed all of my concerns. If you want a intelligent, caring physician with a great support team FM Medical is the place!

Dr. Michaels takes his time to get to know his patients needs and truly gets to the source. We were out of town guests and a family member recommended going to Dr. Michaels when my daughter needed to continue her physical therapy after surgery. He was patient, empathetic and his office provided her with OUTSTANDING PT services. My daughter did better after 1 week with their PT compared to weeks with ours in Maryland. The first time I went to FM Medical was for an acute pain that I had on my left wrist. Dr. Michaels told me it was tenosynovitis and he recommended therapy. I was treated by Dr. Emily McKinnon and today, I called her "my miracle therapist!". She is amazing! Very professional, friendly and thorough. Thank you so much!!! Also, I would like to say that Berrin is unique! She’s so friendly and loving! Always making sure on how I was feeling.

This office of consummate professionals not only saved my wifes life last year (heart attack), they continue to monitor her health and mine. I am type II diabetic since 1998 and checked closely with diagnostics and analysis to be sure I dont regress. The caring this office provides my family is akin to a close family member looking out for your welfare. I heartily recommend this group for your health care.

I was in need of quick care after over exerting myself doing something I shouldnt. Dr Michaels was a big help fitting me in and getting me back to working a full schedule in no time. I usually would see a chiropractor, pain doctor, and a family practitioner to do what just this one clinic can do having both a medical and chiropractic facility under one roof!
