Saw Dr. Chastain this Monday and all I can say is I have been tossing my money down the drain seeing my aesthetician and still having acne problems. Not only is all my acne gone, I had hyperpigmentation that had been nothing my for at least 3 years. She prescribed me something to wash my face with and two creams. I havent even started using what she prescribed me to wash my face with because its mail order pharmacy. The two creams are RX only I can see a major difference already. Her nurse who helped me was very helpful and so was Dr. Chastain. I am so happy I made the decision to finally go see a dermatologist. What I have been trying to get rid of for months now is already vanishing right before my eyes and it has not even been a week. I will continue to see Dr. Chastain from now on. Her entire staff is so friendly and she is as well. Thank you so much Dr. Chastain and her nurse, (I feel awful I cannot remember her name) she was so informed, she taught me so much. I give this Doctor and her team of nurses 6 out of 5 stars! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️! If you are looking for a dermatologist I highly recommend Dr. Joy Chastain.

I was told Dr. Chastain was fabulous so needless to say I was anxiously awaiting my appointment as I have recently developed this strange skin condition which doesnt allow me to get in the sun. I was so excited to finally get some answers from a "fabulous and caring" doctor. Dr. Chastain spent all of 5 minutes with me, rushed me while I tried to explain the details and timeline of whats going on, told me it could be lupus and that she would look into another possible aspect then left. I was under the impression she would come back but of course didnt. The nurse came back to give me an order for blood work if I opted to do so and that was it! She couldnt have cared less. When I called back to say I wanted to do the blood work she immediately referred me to Augusta!! She did nothing for me nor did she care enough to even try. Would not recommend her if you have a serious issue.

Wonderful. As one who is not surprised often, and for lack of time rarely writes reviews... I am stealing a moment to do so now because this office did in deed surprise me and simply deserves it. As a designer, I craft spaces to fit personalities across the board. As beautifully designed as Dr. Chastains office is, there is an air of well-to-do underlying the design concept. Not in the slightest do I imply a negative there, but lets put it this way - I was delighted and refreshed to find Dr. Chastain and her nurses/assistants to be as gracious, caring, and intently efforted toward making as many solutions possible for their patient. I give only 4 stars because unfortunately the front of the house (reception) isnt quite on the same level yet as the back.

This is one of those private clinics only looking to make a profit, with no real regard for patients well being. I came in with a cyst on my arm -- I was told that it was nothing and that it would go away over time. I asked for a general skin check, as I have Melanoma in my family, and they flat out refused me because I "hadnt scheduled it ahead of time." I took time off work for this appointment, and ended up paying them my hard earned money for absolutely nothing. I feel used and duped.

I met with Dr. Joy Chastain for the first time on January 20, 2016. My wait time was so short that I didnt even have time to start reading my book! Dr. Chastain explained my skin issues to me better than any dermatologist ever has before, and Ive been seeing dermatologists for the past 23+ years. Even after only one visit, I have complete trust and confidence in Dr. Chastain. Also, the office staff were very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend Dr. Chastain.

I recently visited Dr. Chastain.s office for a full body scan. Dr. Chastain and staff were amazing! She was very thorough with me and also, asked about my Rosacea. I have been to several derms and no one has ever brought that up to me. She fully explained the condition and gave me some medications to control it. I am doing great now, and I appreciate your time and expertise!

Dr. Chastain & her staff could not have been more helpful yesterday. I did have a wait because of her great care with other needy clients, but sometimes that happens, and its not her fault. She and her staff were compassionate, helpful and went above and beyond with this new patient, but Im planning on being a long-time client. Schedule an appt. today.

I have seen both Dr Chastain and her PA multiple times for acne with great results! I also got a really bad rash last year and had no problem being worked in to have my rash treated. My insurance denied covering some of the medications I was prescribed but a quick call to the office and everything was taken care. I definitely recommend them!!

Wants to prescribe Accutane for all ailments. I was told that Accutane would cure my dry skin. I was not impressed. I did not even go there for dry skin. I went there for a yearly skin cancer screening. Accutane is an awful drug.
