First, I will say that I posted this review on their site, and gave them 24 hours to reply. No word. I saw Dr.Bankston for a surgery consult. He cant help. He was professional and courteous concerning the procedure. When I went in, I asked how far behind he was. I was told 90 minutes. I asked the woman at the desk if she thought that was ethical. She said that she did not and would ask about getting me seen sooner, and she recounted that shed had the same experience with several docs herself. I turned to the man in line behind me and told him what I had heard, and encouraged him to complain. He was upset as youd expect. I told the room, because they had a right to know, and would not have been told otherwise. I sat and filled out my paperwork. The woman at the desk told me I was quick. No ill will whatsoever. I sat. I stood and got a granola bar. I sat. I went to ask about care credit. I sat. I stood to ask a question about insurance. At some point in my short wait, a staff member called me up to tell me that they would get me into a room as soon as one was open. I thanked her and sat. The woman called me up again, and there was the doctor, in the hall. He asked me what the problem was. He was in the middle of surgery he said. I apologized, told him that he neednt have come out of surgery - my problem had been addressed. He pushed a bit further, and I became confused. I told him I no longer had a problem. I sat. They called me back. I was given an xray, then preliminary questions by a nurse, who volunteered that I was funny and that she liked me. The doctor came in after a bit and immediately told me that I had been rude to his staff, that I had gone really hard on them. Hed seen me on closed circuit tv. He told me I was up and down - youve read the reasons above, and I encourage you to ask the staff why I was up and down. I was shocked that I had been watched by my doctor as I went about my business, and told him so. He told me that his staff didnt like me; that they were paid to be nice when people like me were rude to them. I told him that The staff and I had no problems with each other - they had been friendly, courteous and had addressed my concerns quickly. In fact, I had asked them about that and told them that I was sorry if I was being a pain in the ass, which they assured me I was not. Ive played through that scenario in many docs offices. It was all of 2 minutes or less of conversation. No, he continued, they dont like you. They told me. He told me at length about the reasons they were behind. Then he told me that he was a surgeon, he couldnt rush or something. I told him that I didnt want him to do so. I told him I was uncomfortable with the conversation. He offered to change the subject and get on with the reason I was there. That went fine, and I began to think the doc and I were ok. We were not, as I was to find out. When I left, I spoke to one of the office staff who had asked about the time. I told her that I was sorry if I had offended her in some way - that the doc had told me that his staff didnt like me. She assured me that that wasnt the case. I complained about the doctor watching me on the security cameras. I told her, and these are my exact words, that it had "Fing pissed me off". The doctor came over and told me that hed heard me. I wanted to tell him to get the hell off of me, but I did not. He told me that he had heard me using foul language. I was confused. I suppose "pissed" is foul language. I didnt know what he meant and told him so. "I heard you." he said. Confused, I told him that I was leaving. "We dont want customers like you in our practice," said the doctor, or something very close to that. I left. Consider me an angry, deeply offended ex-customer.

tl;Dr > Wasted my time; used flattery as a compensation for the lack of respect for my wasted time; will not be using them. I have gone to this office twice. I was referred by my dentist, who I absolutely love and I would expect to send me to a place where I was treated with respect. My issue was not the treatment of the staff but the absolute disrespect of my time. Before my initial visit, the importance of filling out ALL of the paperwork ahead of time was emphasized as well as the need to send in my insurance information BEFORE coming to the office, so when I arrived at the first visit, the staff had ALL of my information. I fill out some additional paperwork, double check to make sure that everything is filled out appropriately and wait. It appears at this time that the front desk staff verified my insurance, because I was told that I would need a referral from my PCP as well because of my insurance. I know that I have horrible insurance and that the health portion would barely cover anything; I voiced that I did not want to go through my health insurance for the procedure, but the young lady working the front desk ensured me that this was just office policy. Since I did not have a PCP at the time, I had to reschedule my appointment for a month and a half later. I dont understand WHY this could not have been addressed BEFORE I drove half an hour away to this office on my lunch break. Fast forward to my visit today in August. I come in and the staff is happy to see me because my paperwork is done, insurance is verified, and check-in will be a breeze, which is fine and understandable. My appointment was at 1:00 and I was not taken back until I went to the desk to complain about the wait. I told the staff that I needed to be gone by 2:30 so that I could return to work, and then at this time, it seems that getting patients in and out seems to be of the utmost importance. The x-ray technician quipped with me about clothing, the nurse who did a portion of the exam tried to joke with me, but the fact of the matter is that I had to wait AN HOUR to be seen for all of FIVE MINUTES with the doctor. And during this time, I had two assistants try to set me up with appointments BEFORE I HAD SPOKEN WITH THE DOCTOR ABOUT ANYTHING. The long and short of this is that I feel like my time was utterly wasted. Honestly, I dont feel inclined to give this company one red penny of my money and will be finding another oral surgeon to deal with.

I hesitate to leave this review as I am still waiting for my service to be completed. I have been to their offices two times -- once in Kennesaw and once in the Galleria office and saw Dr. David for TMJ problems. I literally only saw the dr at most 2 minutes combined for those 2 visits. I do not feel like he has listened to my symptoms. I went to his office as a result of a visit to the ER due to severe face and jaw pain. All I was told to do was take Advil and sent to physical therapy. I was finally fitted for an occlusal spint on August 15 and told it would be 3 weeks...and I still dont have it! I was told on the 4th week that it would be delayed because of the Labor Day holiday which shouldnt have affected it at all since it was fitted 3 weeks prior to the holiday. Then when I called again after Labor Day their assistant said the lab records showed they had just received it (4 weeks after the fitting) and that it would be another 3 weeks. I asked her if they could expedite it because someone dropped the ball on this and she said the lab told her they would have it delivered to the dentist by last thursday, and ready for me to come into the office to be fitted with the split on yesterday (9/26). Never heard from them! During this time, on one of my calls, I was in pain and asked to speak to someone to see if they could prescribe something for me. I was told I would have to talk to Dr. Davids nurse, Michelle. I was put on hold and after holding for a while, the assistant came back and said Michelle was busy and would call me back. I left my work phone number. Well, its been over 2 weeks and Ive NEVER heard back from Michelle. I am extremely frustrated by this as I have other dental and periodontal work that needs to be addressed but my other dentist doesnt want to do anything until the TMD muscular problems are resolved -- and my insurance is no longer going to be in effect after October 15 so now I have no time to get it done before my insurance expires. So here we are going on 7 weeks with no answers as to when -- or if -- I will ever get the occlusal splint which of course has been paid for.
