Finding a good vet can be hard. 3 years after moving to the North side of the city (ITP), we were still taking our furry ones to a vet on the South side. That can become a bit unwieldy though. So I started to look around the area and check out vets closer to home. BuckHaven was great from the very first "interview". They showed us around their clinic and Dr. Mark took the time to talk to us and tell us more about him and what they do. Now were in the process of transitioning all of our furry ones over to their new vet. If you are in the Buckhead, Brookhaven, Chamblee, or Sandy Springs areas, you should definitely check the BuckHaven Vetrinary Clinic out.

Can I give less than one star? I dont understand any of these ratings. This vet is very expensive and both times I went the customer service was poor. I guess the people writing these reviews personally know the doctor or something. I had an appointment and after 45 minutes of receiving no service I had to walk out. I was given an estimate of another 15 minutes but it was one of those estimates you know they will have to backtrack on. I understand another animal had an emergency but that is why they have emergency clinics. That would be similar to walking into your PCP if you had a traumatic injury. I will not be going back and would not recommend to anyone.

My puppy was extremely sick from a combination of drugs he was on given by another vet; he was down to 20 lbs. from his previous level of 30. GVS discharged him with an outrageous bill considering that he only worsened. Bottom line: BuckHavens vet saved my puppys life by taking the time to change his antibiotics several times to find one that worked. Not only did the vet and the vet techs make me feel comfortable with him there, their services were totally fair. If you live in Brookhaven or north Buckhead - this is a great office.

Dr. Mark has been a fantastic doctor to our Golden Retriever puppy from the age of 8 weeks old to present. He makes our dog and our family feel at home in the office and truly loves taking care of animals. Dr. Mark consistently follows up by phone within a day or two after a visit when our pup is ill / not feeling 100%. The Buckhaven staff members are also wonderful and obviously love working with animals. I highly recommend Buchhaven Veterinary Clinic if you are in the market for a caring team for your pet.

Weve been going to the Buckhaven Clinic for 5 months now and Dr. Mark and his staff are awesome! They really care about your pet as much as you do.The facility is really modern and top of the line, and the appointments are never rushed. It is easy to get an appointment, and hardly ever a wait. Dr. Mark works with you and your family to help you make the best decision for your pet. My dog loves going to the vet, he is always showered with love and treats by the staff!

We love Dr. Mark and his staff! He has taken care of our small menagerie of cats and dogs since he opened. He helped us through the illness and death of our 11-year-old family dog in December 2013 with kindness and concern. And our "crazy tom cat" who previously required sedation for procedures is calm in his clinic. I highly recommend Buckhaven Vet for both the personalized service and professional skills.

Fantastic experience for myself and my pup. The staff really took care of my dog and I could tell that they truly wanted what was best for her. We will definitely be returning for future check-ups and were excited about it. (The last vet clinic we went to made the experience so awful that I dreaded going to any vet, but BuckHaven really changed my opinion.) Thank you for a great vet experience.

The best clinic I have ever visited. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, the facility is clean and well equipped and location convenient. Dr Mark takes his time to speak with you about the options and treatments. On the whole, youre treated with courtesy and honesty. Stopped in for a routine check up without an appointment. Dr. and reception were very cordial and welcoming. The Dr. was very quick to recommend something to help a small issue that if it worked could save money on another visit. He called me on a Saturday morning to check on progress for a service I didnt even pay for. WOW.
