Very BAD experience with this Doctor and the entire practice. Rude and disrespectful from the front desk to the nurse to the Doctor. We felt very uncomfortable in every way with this office and Doctor. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a Doctor & staff with any level of empathy and respect for you and/or a family member attending your visit with you to look elsewhere. We were very surprised by the overwhelming bad attitude prevalent in this office. Its as if they all just fed off of each other. I can certainly make this a very long review with specifics, but I can assure you we will NOT be returning. I would highly advise anyone who values reviews to choose another practice and Doctor.

My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Jason Smith for our general medical needs since the late 1990s. in our opinion, he is an excellent doctor in every respect. In particular, he takes as much time as necesary with a patient - it is NOT "in and out in ten minutes" like we have seen with may others. He is very friendly, and remembers details about us more than expected from someone we see only a few times a year. I have observed that he appears to be an early adopter of new technology where it benefits the practice. He is very friendly and usually cheerful (hey, everyone has an occasional bad day) and his staff is very much the same. I would happily recommend Dr. Smith.

Dr Smith is great. The downfall is Piedmont. I just spent 45 minutes trying to get my BP medicine refilled because Im out and I could not speak to a nurse. Their policy is to call back in two days. I have an appt on Friday, but if I have a stroke between now and then, that wont help much. After talking to four schedulers, I was promised a nurse would call me. I waited at the Walgreens and didnt hear from her. I think if they wanted to change me to every six months from once a year, they should let me know BEFORE I run out of my medicine.

Dr. Smith is very positive, friendly and down-to-earth. Im glad I found him. Im in my early sixties and he is more than ten years younger, just right for me. He strikes me as very competent and intelligent, and he always has plenty of time for me. The pre-appointment waits are now not bad at all. Hes great and I highly recommend him.
