Hands down the most warm, inviting, professional and just flat out fun experience Ive had at an optometrists office. By chance I was walking by the office as it was opening on a Saturday morning. I cant imagine ever just popping in to an optometrists office, but this place doesnt have that old clinical feeling of your mom & dads eye doctor. The shopfront is cool and modern. Dr. Herold and Kat have done an amazing job of making their office welcoming to the entire neighborhood. It fits in perfectly among the hip restaurants and cafes surrounding it. I know that sounds weird, but trust me its true. Dr. Herold really took his time to explain each step of the exam process and was one of the most personable doctors Ive ever had. So much so that I hung around for at least 30 minutes longer than I probably needed to just to talk about movies and the neighborhood. And then there is Kat. Shes selected all the frames you see and is more than happy to talk to you about all of them. She helped me find a TON of options, and was happy to give me the time I needed to try everything on and make up my mind. I cant make this any more clear - if you live in the area this has got to be your go-to for glasses and eye care. Period.

Dr. Herold is great! Betty is awesome too. I am extremely farsighted and have been in contacts and glasses since I was 13 months old. Framed opened up in my neighborhood so I decided to stop in since I needed a new eye doctor after leaving my last one. Dr. Herold is very patient and kind and explains things very well. He listens to what is important to his patients and does his best to correct vision while keeping his patients happy. He tried me out in 2 new contacts after hearing me out about the price and clarity being both important. After trying dailies, he put me in a toric lens. I fell in love with the toric. These topics are VERY economical as apposed to my last doctor who wanted to put me in a toric that was going to cost $600/year (the reason I left him as I felt he was always trying to overcharge me for things). I really love Framed Glenwood. I live in the neighborhood and its nice to have an eye doctor so close who cares about his patients. I definitely recommend going here.

I had a really bad experience at my last eye doctor. My eyes have changed rapidly inside 4 months. Nothing makes you change eye doctors faster than backing your Porsche into a wall due to the wrong script and 6 week wait on average to get new scripts. I was referred to Framed by a friend. I had my first appointment last week. They have done more, and provided better customer service inside 6 days than my last doctor did in 4 months. I walked out with trials meant to work for me, and the doctor had me wear the contacts for 30 minutes before testing my eyes again to see if they should work as my eyes adapted. I had a follow-up within days, and contacts delivered the next day. Customer service and expertise are both top notch. I highly recommend!!!

I decided to use Framed for my most recent eye exam because its in my neighborhood. The doctor was very thorough, patient, and willing to explain the procedures and answer all my questions. Chris was a lot of help with picking frames and told me all about my VSP insurance and FSA benefits, which Id never used before and was clueless about. They had a great selection of frames, let me try on a ton of them, and the office and equipment were in great shape. Very happy they moved in!

Loved EVERYTHING about my visit. First off, the facility itself is visually stunning. Very modern, funky and chic, for an eye care facility. It really sets a cool tone and complements the area. Dr. Herold is the man...very down-to-earth, personal, and interested. He knows his stuff too. I didnt feel like just a number, as we all do sometimes at health facilities. I had a good ol time. This place is perfect if you want class, professionalism, efficient service, and courtesy.

My experience at Framed Glenwood was 10/10. Both Dr. Herold and Kat were extremely friendly, professional and informative. They were also very quick - I was in an out in half an hour. Lastly, I really appreciated the modern atmosphere and refined curation of frames. Highly recommend!

I felt that the optometrist and practice may be focused a bit more on glasses as my contact fitting and consultation was quite frustrating. Nice folks but I wouldnt recommend for contact wearers.

The office is nicely decorated. And, the receptionist is very pleasant and helpful. The doctor was very professional and he explained the exam procedures and I did not feel rushed.
