This was my third appointment with Dr. Walter Mashman of Piedmont Heart Institute and was simply a follow-up to present the results of a stress-test. I arrived to my appointment about 15 minutes early; my appointment time was at 4pm. At 4:15 I was taken by a nurse to an examination room where ask a couple a questions and informed me the Doctor was a little backed up and he would be in as soon as he could. I was left in the tiny exam room until 5:45!! So in total, I was NOT SEEN UNTIL 1 HOUR AND 45 MINUTES AFTER MY APPOINTMENT TIME! When the doctor came in, he simply said they had computer problems and then told me the results in what was probably less than 10 minutes. When I left the office, all of the lights were turned off in the waiting room and lobby and every one had left for the day since it was 6 pm. After this absolutely terrible experience, I was sent a survey in which I was to rate my experience during my visit. However, in the portion where it asks "how many minutes did you wait past your appointment time", I have tried to enter the time which I waited and it will not allow me to enter a time that is so large. In addition, there is no way to respond to the email that was sent to me regarding the survey, so I cannot inform anyone of how poor the service way. Overall, this was the worst experience I have EVER had in a doctors office. I will never go back to an office that keeps their patients waiting nearly two hours.

I am very pleased with Dr Goswami overall service. He has great bedside manners. Also very concern with his patients condition . I had to have an MRI on my heart. I am very claustrophobic. I was nearly in tears before going inside the machine. Dr Goswami said to me in a caring voice you will be alright we have to make sure your heart is ok. I kept those words in my head during the test and got through the procreedure fine. I was so relived to see Dr Goswami still watching over me when the test was over. I cannot thank him enough for being such a caring doctor. The heart is such a vital organ in the body. It is important to feel as you are in good hands . Thanks Dr. Goswami for taking care of me even when I fussed about taking valsatran.

My husband has been a patient of Piedmont Heart for several years now and since he has extensive heart issues, weve seen a good many of the doctors. All of them have been incredibly easy to talk to and caring and take time to explain exactly what is going on. We wouldnt go to anyone else!
