Ive been seeing Dr. Vollrath for a decade. The staff is nice and the wait time is what youd expect in a typical MDs office. You can usually see him or one of the other providers (MD or NP) the day you call if you fall sick and need to be seen ASAP. I worked at the ER at Cobb Hospital for years and that was how I came to choose Dr. Vollrath as my MD. He does NOT use a hospitalist like many practices do now when you are hospitalized. That was a trend that started in the 90s. When you go into the hospital, a MD youve never seen before takes care of you when you are the sickest and need your doctor who knows you the best is needed the most. I have no idea who thought this up but I believe it started in California so most likely it has to do with saving money. So that was one reason. The other was the quality of care. Dr. Vollrath is one of the best MDs Ive met and Ive been in the medical field for 25 years. He has been the chief medical officer at Cobb for a year, I believe, and has sat on peer review committees there too. His medical training is second to none. He is always up to date with the latest treatments and does all he can to make you understand your illness and treatment options.

AWFUL office staff!! While my medical care was okay, the office staff is rude, unhelpful and unknowledgeable! It took over 3 months to get copies of medical records and they blamed it on me!! Office environment is old, outdated and dirty! My husband and I will NOT be going back to this office. I feel sorry for the doctors because they have no clue at how badly their office staff is representing them.

He is the rudest doctor I have ever encountered! He was condescending to me and talked to me like I was faking my symptom. Why anyone would trust this man with their medical health is beyond me. I only gave him one star because there isnt a way to give a lower score. I would not recommend any one go see him unless they are ready to be treated like an idiot.

Dr. Vollrath has been my personal physician for 5 yrs now and he is great. Good bedside manner and very thorough. Good doctor and I continue to see him even though I moved another 10 miles away from him.
