My wife and I started using BrightStar Care for my father-in-law when he was in his mid 80s. He was not taking his meds every day and also skipping meals. Their service made sure he took his morning and evening meds and checked on him to be sure he went down stairs to join the other residents for all three meals each day. When he wasnt feeling well they had his meal delivered to his room. It was a great comfort knowing someone was watching after him each and every day. I would recommend BrightStar to anyone who has a family member in an independent living facility such as Smokey Springs in Gainesville. The meals were good and my wife and I joined him many times for lunch and dinner.

I worked for BrightStar care cumming Georgia office for awhile and I have to say they are unreliable. Clients that Ive had were treated dishonestly. If you have someone of special needs absolutely do not hire this company. They do not take special needs as a priority. They will leave clients without help. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Im sure the other branches are just fine but cumming Georgia has been a disappointment.

Bright star care, in my opinion, went above and beyond to take care of my mother. We were very unhappy with Smokey Springs to say the least but Bright Star made her stay there as comfortable and enjoyable as could be possible. I would highly recommend Bright Star care. They may be cheaper places but remember you get what you pay for. Bright Star isnt expensive though. They are very competitive with their rates compared to others.
