I am very disappointed with my experience at Kaiser. I got this insurance thinking it would work for me and it ended up working against me. They will not cover my medications without a $1000 copay and its a medical emergency. I called the manufacturer to get the medication at a discount and they will not even accept that. Meanwhile, its been a month with no medication but yet I am paying for insurance every month. They so cheap and inconsiderate. I was bettwr off with no insurance and come January. I am dropping them.like a hot cake. I have never been treated so nonchalantly before by any insurance company. You go to go through all these steps just to book, see and speak to someone. I am not here for the foolishness. I have severe psoriasis and its like we dont care what has worked for you. We want you on the cheapest non working medication so we can keep our pockets fat. I will not recommend then to anyone. Its almost like a bad dream that you cant recover from.

I went to the urgent care on Sunday late morning and waiting room was full but not packed. They have good system going--as you come in they give you a number to be checked in. As I was in some pain, I was grateful not to have to stand in line, plus when I was called there was no one standing behind me to overhear my problem. Good system. The intake person was very kind, apologized for the wait (hardly any--10 min). She told me it might be 1-2 hours before I could see a doctor, which was reasonable for a Sunday with a lot of people in front of me. I waited about 20-25 minutes before being called for screening, essentially a triage. Because my problem was severe, I was ushered on into a room and treatment began. Everyone was extremely courteous, skilled and helpful (and I saw a lot of people!). The waiting room was clean and comfortable, as was the rest of the facility. Free parking (you never know!) and plenty of it. Overall, I was very impressed by this facility.

The worst service I have ever experienced!!! Do NOT make an appointment online!! They encourage you to make appointments online and in fact, the phone appointment wait times are now up to over an hour but do NOT make an appointment online. When I arrived for my appointment (which is at a Kaiser location over an hour from my home) I was told that they would not do what I had made the appointment for because they had to have some test run first. I was VERY specific in the comments online as to what I wanted done and it was very simple. Someone from the office could have contacted me to let me know of this requirement!!!! I wasted gas, time and half of my day off work for NOTHING!!! Ridiculous! I will never make an appointment at Kaiser online again. And I will give a horrible review every time I am forced to have anything done at a Kaiser facility. Very poor service!!!

Can I give 0 stars? Only have Kaiser because that is the agency my company uses. The urgent care doesnt open until noon. Try calling anyone to schedule an appointment, like I am doing as I write this review, and you are on hold. (I am currently going on 20 minutes!) Was referred to see a specialist for an issue that ive been dealing with since OCTOBER and none of their doctors have gotten it fixed. Called to schedule for the specialist, was given 2 bad phone numbers, had to go to the location above where I was told they dont schedule appointments. Given a third number and of course had to wait 30 minutes to get someone on the phone. When I finally got someone on the phone, they cant get anyone in for 3 weeks! This place is so far beyond ridiculous, I am considering dropping them as my Insurance Carrier and just going with someone else.

Terrible process and experience (but the Dr was nice). Takes a week or more to get appointment. Took 3 weeks just to get a copy of MRI report (not the film, just a simple fax copy of the write up). And they charge you if you want a copy of YOUR records. I spent 38 min on hold FOR JUST ONE CALL and it has taken 13 calls/emails so far and I still dont have the report. Pick a different plan, NOT Kaiser. One where personal service is the priority and where they know you when you call - - where you are not just a 7 digit code without a face and heart -- where it does not take an act of congress to get a print out of something you were able to read on the screen in your doctors office 3 weeks ago...... When can I switch plans? I will be going back to Blue Cross Blue Shield.

I am so sick and tired of going to the location off of Steve Reynolds just to have a bad experience . Every doctor who that I have seen except 1 , Dr. Forna which is the nicest one ever , every nurse I have had come get me from the waiting room were undeniably RUDE ! They all have bad attitudes and Im so sick of it . I took my sister to the one in Buford Ga and everyone was so welcoming . I will never go to the one in Duluth , after my next appointment . I will most definitely make a recommendation to change hospital locations . Its sickening how they treat their patients ! I had this one nurse bug me about taking an HIV test as if she felt like I was infected or sleeping around . Also got personal with me about God ! Unprofessional !!

I have been charged co-pay shouldnt get charged for the well check. When I called the call center, I told the person to make well check schedule & I got to facility the schedule was for regular check up at the same time the Dr say two week go well check up is done. If was done why do I have been charged for the co-pay? I told admission office the reason & no help at this location or main office. The admission customer services was very bad, the only thing I choose most of the service are one place so I dont have to run or call different places when I have problems, I found out the hard way. I have to fax, call etc. I ask head quartet address they wont give me. I google it & I found. Thanks google.

The phone service is absolutely abhorrent. It will take you 30+ minutes to get to someone, and they will most likely be unable to help you. You have to deal with the phone service, however, because they will not call you to inform you of test results and the like. In addition, many appointments MUST be scheduled over the phone. Unlike others, the call system does not tell you how long your wait is or where you are in line. Additionally, there is no option to hold your place in line and get a call back. I had tests done over a week ago and they said they would give me results within 3 business days. Im having to call in now, 26 minutes and Ive yet to reach a person.

My family used to be with BCBS but this year we have switched to Kaiser and I am totally regret it. I had pediatric preventive care in Gwinnett center for my kid and I have charged for $241. Last month, I called Kaiser for this and they told me that 1st preventive care should be free so don’t worry about it. And this month I got another bill with $241 and they just told me the same story and told me not to pay if you get another bill next month. Is this scam?? I have to cancel all the future preventive checkups for all of my family. They may charge for all of them. They are doing great job preventing us to use insurance policy. I will go back to BCBS next year.
