We have nothing but praise for both the hospital and the medical personnel who were involved with my mother here at Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin, KY. We drove all the way from Hazard for her to have the surgery here. The Surgical team was a very positive situation and again it was so gratifying that we were involved with such wonderful and dedicated medical people from orthopedic surgeon Dr. Ronald Belhasen and his staff to the personnel who got my mother ready for surgery on her knee. Even after the surgery the nurses and Physical Therapists were extremely courteous. I want to thank them for taking care of her and being so nice. RN’s: Jason and Barbie, PCA: Nicole and Rita, and P.T.: Brian and Trevor. Thank you for caring. And please know what a BIG impact you have all made in me and my familys life! Thank you again! Sat in the waiting area 5 hours! They were asking everyone for urine when they signed in saying "it would soured the process up" Then they wanted blood samples from everyone, but when walking through er 2 I noticed EVERY room was empty except maybe 3 or 4 while the staff was sitting up front laughing and having a wonderful time while the waiting room was packed! They eventually took me to er 1 where I had to wait another hour & finally left seeking help elsewhere. This hospital use to be one of the best and now is awful these Drs, PAs, & Nurses have only concern for themselves & could care less about the patients or their family!

Nurses are incompetent. Let my newborn lay there freezing while under phototherapy lights. The room was ice cold. He was just shivering until we finally threw a big enough fit someone brought us a heater for him. Night shift nurses didnt even know what the lights were for. Staff was rude. Front desk was terrible. No one at registration when we got there. Doctors were not on the same page with medical advice. Terrible experience

Very clean above ceiling. Makes installs easier and quicker. This is a construction review only. (UPDATE) I have been in many Hospitals and Baptist is #1 on my list for above ceiling Cleanness, Fireproofing, Cable Infrastructure (cable routes, cable hanging systems, wall passthrough assemblies). Everything is up to Fire and Life safety Code.

this hospital is really good the nurses are very nice my daughter in law had to have her appendex took out and the doctor that done it was very nice and supportive they are a very good hospital way way better than knox county arh hospital
