UPDATE: The office did apologize to me, and my subsequent visits werent nearly as worrisome. Ive had the implant for months now, and its working great (though that probably has at least as much to do with my Toco Hills surgeon than my Fayetteville crown placement). Nothing has quite erased the memory of that annoying initial visit, but I do appreciate that all personnel in future visits were professional. === So far, my impression of this office is that they are completely incompetent. My situation is admittedly complex. I have been seeing Dental One in Toco Hills and am partway through getting a dental implant. The implant anchoring is in and has healed up, and I need to have the crown placed atop it. Wait, actually thats not complex it all; I explained it in two sentences. I switched to Dental Ones Fayetteville location because I moved. Assured on the phone that everything would transfer easily, I made an appointment to have a dentist examine me and potentially take the implant impression on the same day as I would get a cleaning. That seemed eminently reasonable and convenient. I arrived early and waited 20 minutes past my appointment time to be called back (red flag). I had a single X-ray taken of the implant and was told that they didnt have my records from Toco Hills. I was then left alone in a dental chair for half an hour while they attempted (successfully) to get my records. The dentist came and looked at my implant. He and the technician talked over me about another patient for quite a while. Despite having been assured on the phone that I would have the combination appointment with a cleaning as well, as I wasnt really a new patient, this did not happen and I was told in person that I wasnt scheduled for a cleaning at all. 90 minutes after my appointment and almost two hours after my arrival, I left with essentially nothing done. The best part? They were startled that I was a bit upset about this. They kindly made me another appointment for a cleaning, over two weeks away. Im really looking forward to going back to that office. They didnt even make the appointment for me to have the dental impression for my implant. Im told theyll have their periodontist look at my X-ray and someone will call me to make an appointment. Im not holding my breath. I am, however, thinking of leaving Dental One--which is a shame, as Ive been with them for nine years.

If I could give them zero stars I would. 1st appointment- appointment scheduled for 6pm. I was running a few minutes behind. Called around 5:45 answering machine picked up and said they were closed. 2nd appointment - they rescheduled it because the doctor didnt want to work late that day. 3rd appointment- appointment at 5:30, got there on time, had completed the paper works weeks ago, still sat in the waiting room for 30 minutes. Then they took the xrays, and I waited for another 20 minutes while the dentist joked around with one of his other patients while working on them. THEN all he did was looked at the xrays and said come back for my cleaning!!!!! 4th appointment - appointment at 6pm I get there on time, and they didnt have me scheduled in the system and said they were closed. And the lady that had "scheduled" it looked at me as I was talking to the receptionist and didnt say a word!!! And I was just there with her two weeks before. Some of the people are nice and professional, but their overall service is horrible. Will not be returning!!!!

The front office staff and dental assistants were wonderful. Really great and understanding women, who listened to me. But the dentist was atrocious. I have a dental anxiety problem, like a lot of people. I requested to be informed of the instruments they were using before they were placed in my mouth the dentist didnt comply. This heightened my anxiety, to the point of me crying. The dentist asked me why I have anxiety and when I couldnt answer him due to emotional distress, he said "Did I not just ask you a question?". And then pretty much told me that there was nothing he could do for me and that I should seek the care of someone who "has time to sit down and be patient with me". There are many different options to treating me and he was just in a rush. If you want half measures than this is the dentist for you.

(This review has been shortened) I decided on Dental One in Fayetteville after getting a bleak and expensive diagnosis from another dentist. I felt comfortable talking to the receptionist and decided to book an appointment. They were very welcoming and extremely polite. Dr. Jos diagnosis did not include crowns or a cracked tooth, and was significantly less expensive. My S/R/P hygenist was also extremely friendly and polite. I was amazed at how clean my teeth were, particularly behind my lower front teeth. Dr. Jo and his assistant Ms. Ranjan are the ones who have been taking care of my 8 fillings, and it has been a wonderful experience. Dr. Jo is careful and thorough and you get the feeling that things are getting done patiently and correctly. I would highly recommend Dental One in Fayetteville to anyone.

I am a single mother just relocated with job 800 miles from my home and family to Georgia so I know no one. I made an appointment first and new patient and on my way my daycare had an emergency. Now I have a 3 year old daughter and 2 yr old twin boys and yes they are busy. Most dentist wont see you. This office did, they were so nice and understanding and played with my kids until my first visit was over. It means a lot to me to find an office like yours and I thank you so much for helping me with my kids. I am dedicated to you for life. New patient and staying patient.

Office staff and dental assistance are all very friendly with excellent customer service skills. However, the Dentist is rude and disrespectful. I asked 2 basic questions about the procedure. Apparently the Dentist feels that as a paying customer (or Dental manikin) I am NOT supposed to ask questions or have any concerns. I felt very uncomfortable with the fact that he did NOT want to answer my question of "Can you let me know what you are about to do"?. Use this Dentist only if you do not have any care, questions or concerns about your treatment. .

Ive been a patient at Dental One for approx. 10-12 years. The dental hygienists are the best.. very personable and quick! I appreciate that they always remember to schedule my 6 months appointment before Im finished and then I get a text reminder! This works for me! Dr. Joe is personable and honest about your teeth… he does work when he truly needs to and looks out for your best asset = your smile! If youre in South Atlanta, I highly recommend Dental One .. and promise that youll be taken care of and treated with care.

I would not recommend this office. The staff, "especially the dental team," are not practical. My husband scheduled appointment consist of the following: long waiting period (over an hour), constant excuses (doctor always having a conflict); not getting scheduled treatments and the financial team not returning your calls. They received payment but my husband received no assistance. We had such high hopes only to end up in disappointment.
