Horrible and Rude front office! First I call and ask how late they are open.....noone says ANYTHING about they take their last walkin at 11:15? So my daughter and I bring new puppy their and show up at 11:12 and theirs like 4 people at counter so we come in and sit down because we CANT talk to someone as soon as we come in because the front desk had 4 people standing their. Betime I got to speak with someone it was 11:30......then they say well we take our last walk in at 11:15. Sorry. Im so pissed at this place I may NEVER go back. Howdare you allow me to call and you dont give good information then you allowed me to sit in your front office for 20 mins only to tell me Im their past your last walkin time which I wasnt but your lack of employees to run the front office and wasnt able to assist me when I got their turn into I wasnt their on time. Treating people like this is wrong.

I have visited several local vets and Southside Animal Hospital is by far my favorite to work with. They are always helpful, they answer all my questions, and never seem to mind if Im being an over-worrisome pet parent. The office staff is always cordial and makes sure youre taken care of in a timely manner. The vet techs are extremely smart and are great with all three of my dogs who have extremely different temperaments. Last but not least, both Dr. Zach and Dr. Roberts are so good. Their bedside manner is great, they genuinely care and dont rush their time with you. If youve ever had a bad experience at a vets office then you know just how valuable it is to have a staff that is kind and caring. I would recommend Southside to all of my fellow pet parents.

Would not recommend for anyone to go here. I took my cat here because he had been sick for a few days. they couldnt come up with anything besides that he had an infection somewhere in his body. gave him some antibiotics and sent us home. when i got home i noticed every time he went to eat he meowed. so i checked his mouth. there was a nasty infection on his lip and it was so swollen it was turning inside out. if the vet would have checked Ollies mouth he would have seen that. not to mention the fact that they are way overpriced.

We have had 2 cats spayed and neutered at Southside and thought they did a good job. Today our kitten, who is a patient of theirs, got bit by a copperhead snake. When we called to see if we could bring him they said sorry we stopped taking walk-ins for the day. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME? So we called Memorial Drive Vet Clinic they said bring him in and they would get him right in even though we had never been there before. Memorial Vet clinic now has a new customer, Southside you are dead to me!

I have used Southside for 20 years. The service is the best for your pet. The veterinarians know the advanced techniques but, it still maintains the " country vet" appeal. You will get full attention by the techs(awesomeness) and the vets. I have tried others even when I lived 50 miles away I came to Southside. When it comes to your pets last days the staff is compassionate. They understand the decision is difficult. You are not rushed. Southside is the best.

A+ !!!!! The absolute best practice, end of story. Dr. Barker is such a wonderful lady and has always been more than willing to go the extra mile to help solve my issue. Anyone who has a brain knows this is the best place to take your animal in Griffin and the entire surrounding area. I would never even consider taking my dogs anywhere else.

great doctors great staff we have used the big Box pet store in PTC and Mcdonnen got tired of the shifting of command and changing of the guard there . . . always a different dr etc etc i think we found a good place for our dogs . . .

We love Dr. Roberts and Dr. Zach! I have been taking my pets here for 12+ years and then genuinely love their pet patients. The prices are great and you wont find a better vet anywhere on the south side.

Dr Zach is AMAZING. she gets down in the floor and on my dogs level to examine her and really takes time to hear our concerns and needs. We drive past 4 other clinics from mcdonough just to come here.

Great no frills vet. Prices cant be beat. Be sure and ask for 3 year rabies, its a oiplenof dollars more and eliminates need to go back yearly if u diy other vaccines.
