It is literally a matter of convenience only for my children to continue at Cobb Peds. Antiquated, time consuming systems they continually advertise as up to date when they are not. Unfortuntely for them, I have the pleasure of also dealing with Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta and you want to talk about 5 star service... Cobb should be ashamed of how they handle themselves most days. I have 3 children and tried to register a 4th and it is a nightmare. If CHOA was close, Cobb would not be able to have their doors open, I would bet anyone their life savings on that notion.

I called to make an apt for my son and the receptionist or whoever she was put me on hold and then came back saying I have a past due balance of $70 for my daughter so my son cannot be seen or be scheduled for an appt until this is paid off. So I said to her I have no problem paying the balance when I come in or pay it online tomorrow. Her response "well I cannot make that apt until its paid first. So I said no problem I will take my kids somewhere else and pay off the balance. She said no problem go ahead. They would rather loose two patient over $70 .

Apparently they are not in need of new patients. I spent about 20 minutes trying to register my baby and the website wouldnt take the information. Call in to see if someone would have the interest in helping me setting up an appointment, but they appear not to care. Like robots the ladies say that they absolutely cant take appointments via phone (fine, but also they couldnt help me with my portal problem). Why simplify when you can complicate, right??? Lost a potential patient right there.

They force their opinions on you and if you dont do what they say they will now allow your kids to come in. Most of the nurses are rude and unfriendly. One of the male doctors got mad cause my 2 year old didnt like him putting a tongue depressor down his throat, so the doctor gave up and was very rude to me and my son. There is only one good doctor there and she is amazing but not worth going to this place. Take your kids somewhere else.

I had to wait 40 minutes in the waiting room and a total of over 1 hour before seeing the physician. No one ever said " I apologize for wasting a hour of your life". Once being seen, the doctor and PA did a very good job. I would highly recommend that they adjust their patient schedules so that you do not have to wait over a hour to be seen. You would not put up with this customer service in any other type of business..

Even with a full waiting room our wait never goes past fifteen minutes. Patient portal makes the first year of checkups go very quickly; fill out the questionare before coming in, express any concerns to your doctor and get measurements. They are also very gentle with vaccinations. As far as sick visits go everything tends to be the same, when you need bloodwork they are very gentle. The receptionists are also friendly.

I have been seeing Dr. Julia Gaines with my son for the past 9 months since he was born and she has truly been amazing. She came highly recommended by two separate co-workers and she has yet to disappoint. I cannot speak to the other doctors in the practice, however, she is fantastic. I have never waited more than 10 minutes for an appointment and everyone has been very friendly.

We have two small children that have been seeing Dr. Nakos now for almost 2 years. The staff is extremely friendly and professional and Dr. Nakos goes out of her way to spend time with us during each visit. I would definitely recommend this practice and especially Dr. Nakos.

They need $$ just for weight check. Its completely okay to pay the copay but I was surprised to see the copay just for the weight.. I confirmed if doctor is going to see the little one and staff said NO.. so why there is a charge just for weight.

Dr. Forbes and his staff are wonderful, my children have been going to this office for over 16 yrs, and even though I moved over an hr away i still drive the distance just so my children could be treated by this awesome staff.
