I started seeing Dr Dyar back in 2010 cause my husband and I were having some difficulties getting pregnant and I needed a new OBGYN. Dr Dyar was friendly and seemed to want to help us. He did a few tests and decided to finally do a laparoscopy to investigate why I was having painful periods and cysts. It was then discovered I had mild endometriosis and both my tubes were blocked. My surgery went well and I thank him for doing the surgery and helping me feel better. Well it still took over a year from the time I had surgery to get pregnant. When we finally did get pregnant, every time I would go to my appointment I would be waiting for it least an hour to be seen only to be seen for only 5 minutes or less. I saw a few other of the doctors, Dr Webb was very short, Dr Steinichen was not very friendly and blew off my birth plan my doula and I had written up. He didnt even read it or listen to what I wanted for my childs birth. I then had to pay more for parking because the appointments took so long. Fast forward to the end of my pregnancy it was Tuesday, February 11, 2014 and my due date was February 12. That Tuesday an ice storm came to Georgia of all places. When I went in for my appointment on that Tuesday my mom came with me so she is a witness to this. Dr Dyar decided before even having a full discussion or even asking to strip my membranes, a day before my due date, in an ice storm for no reason at all. After he stripped my membranes which didnt feel good I felt very violated. No doctor should have any right to violate a pregnant women or anybody for that matter. I was so upset because I had in my birth plan that I didnt want my membranes stripped. Doctors should not be getting away with this and it is so wrong. He then started talking that if I dont go into labor within the next 7 days Im going to be induced with pitocin!!!! You arent considered over due til 42 weeks, plus there were no health complications of me and my baby. Later that evening I went into early labor. By Wednesday morning my contractions were getting more intense. We then had to make a trip on a firetruck to get to an ambulance just to be told by the triage nurses that Im only a 2. So here my husband and I are stuck at the hospital in the middle of an ice storm cant get back home. Im walking around the hospital. A couple hours later I went back up to triage only to be told Im being discharged again. I had to sit in the hallway in public laboring for hours with no privacy. Once my contractions were 2 minutes apart right on top of each other for about 2 hours I went back up to triage only to be told by a nurse I will know when Im in labor because I wont be able to talk, Ill be screaming and crying, wont be able to move, and the contractions will be 20 times stronger than what they were... I guess according to the nurse I wasnt in labor because I didnt fit that criteria. I then called the on call dr, Dr Webb and told him I had been refused to be checked by the triage nurses. He didnt believe me and I kept telling him that they are refusing. He then called over there for them to check me. When I got up there I was a 5 and was admitted by the time I had gotten to the delivery room I was a almost 8. To that nurse that didnt believe me, not everyone cries, screams, cant walk during labor. Maybe you had that but not me. Back to Dr Dyar now. He had no right to strip my membranes without permission, let alone in an ice storm, and not even my due date. I can not and will not recommend anyone to go here if they are pregnant. They do not care about you and your baby and only want money and have your baby on their time by pushing induction on you.

Had my first visit with no issues what so ever! Had my exam, had some blood taken, and scheduled a follow up on my way out. Dr. Taylor was super friendly and understanding. When I came back in for my follow up appointment, the receptionist Heather was SO rude. Kept rolling her eyes at me, huffing and puffing at everything I said, and was not very discrete about my financial responsibility. Basically if youre not paying the full amount they tell you they need to reschedule you. (They had told another women if she couldnt pay they would reschedule her also -hint not very discrete about financials) Asked to speak to the office manager and waited up front for 15 mins. Ended up walking out, will not be returning.
