Friendly staff cannot make up for the problems my dogs endured during their 10 day stay at the "Animal Health Center". My dogs were at their own Vet for annual shots and check up the week before this stay at "Animal Health Center". They were also groomed the week before staying at "Animal Health Center" also. My dogs were NOT Healthy after being boarded at Animal Health Center for 10 days. Coughing and sneezing with runny noses until I got them home to my Vet. Matted too. (appeared to have sprayed water on my dogs / due to curly ear hair when I picked them up & the most matted areas on 1 of my dogs) to clean them off without giving them a full bath?). Before I took them to "Animal Health Center" vet office for boarding, I was quoted a daily price for stay. Upon having to extend their stay (I trusted this place because it was run by a Vet); I called for extended stay and was also informed that for them to give my dogs MY treats, the cost was $1.65 EACH per day (TLC care)/ I was Never told this when I dropped them off with their food and treats./ to give the treats "I left" for MY dogs. They also tried to charge me for stool checks that I was NEVER told about until it was payment time. WHAT? They are on Trifecta. No worms ever. BEWARE of the outrageous unnecessary overcharges and their "taking advantage" prices of out of state boarders. Getting back SICK & MATTED dogs, was much worse to deal with. This will NEVER be my Vet when I move to that area. Since being at "Animal Health Center" My dogs had to have Antibiotic Shots and are still on Oral Antibiotics & "ear infections" meds, since being boarded at Animal "Health" Center! My dogs also lost weight while there. BEWARE.... THEIR ANSWER IS FULL OF LIES. I LEFT MY DOGS THERE WITH ALL PROPER VACCINATIONS AND APPROVED BY THE STAFF TO STAY. THEY ALSO TRIED TO CHARGE ME FOR GIVING MY DOGS MY OWN TREATS LEFT FOR THEM. *** CHECK OUT THIS FACILITY BEFORE TAKING YOUR PETS THERE. MY DOGS ARE STILL SICK FROM STAYING AT THIS "ANIMAL HEALTH CENTER" KENNEL FOR BOARDING. NOTHING HEALTHY ABOUT THIS PLACE. DISGUSTING CARE. A VET WHERE SICK DOGS STAY IS "NOT" WHERE A PET BOARDING KENNEL SHOULD BE. I REALIZED THAT NOW THAT MY DOGS CAME BACK TO US VERY ILL. MY PUPPY IS GOING BACK TO HER VET TODAY FOR ADDITIONAL PNEUMONIA SHOTS. "BEWARE" OF THIS BOARDING KENNEL. THEY ARE OBVIOUS LIARS AND UNCARING OF YOUR PETS. SURPRISE FEES AND UNNECESSARY TREATMENT IS OUTRAGEOUS. CHECK THEM OUT WITH YOUR GEORGIA STATE FOR COMPLAINTS TO VETERINARY HEALTH COMPLAINTS. I WILL LET YOU ALL KNOW OF THAT AGENCY WHICH ALSO LICENSES VETERINARIAN OFFICES.

Ok, this was extremely embarrising. Not only in front of customers, but also by the employees. I scheduled an appointment for my dog yesterday. Woke up this morning drove to the Animal Clinic and got seated. The vet tech was very professional, he told me that it didnt look like my dog needed to have any vaccines today, I told him that my dog needed his nails clipped and he told me that most of them did not need to be clipped so they didnt charge me for it. I thought okay cool. Well, the vet walks in tells me that he needed 2 vaccines, a heartworm, flea and tick medication and that it was going to cost me $240 for the trip. I said that I wasnt prepared to make that kind of transaction due to my mortgage and car payment and he also persisted to tell me that the visit would cost $120 and that it would take care of everything. I expected around $60-$70 because that is what I am used to paying at a vets office and I said okay thats fine. This is where the story gets extremely discomforting. I walked up to pay and both cards get declined. It wasnt that I didnt have money in them but their machines wouldnt read them. It was in front of one of my bank owners that it happened to make things even worse. So, I paid what I had and had to go home and get the rest. I did that. When I got back to pay I expected to pick up the medication I left on the counter, I left my heartworm, flea, and tick medication on the counter so I asked politely, where my bag was. The woman persisted in saying, "I watched you take it with you when you took your dog home" At this point I was furious. I said, Ill go check my truck knowing that the bag wasnt in there. So, they told me to go home and check and if it wasnt at the house, they will call me to figure out what they need to do. It wasnt at the house. I paid $40 for those meds. I didnt take them out of the vets office, and basically being called a liar doesnt sit well on my mind. I have now wasted half of a day and have never in my life been more dissappointed in such a simple veteraniary office visit. I am being extremely generous by giving you a 2 star rating. I am very skeptic to post ratings or reviews and I am sure that if I enjoyed my visit at this office I would have given them the benefit of the doubt but this is extremely ridiculous. Customer Service should never be like this reguardless of where you are at.

We have been customers of Animal Health Center for about 7 years now. Dr. Moseley and his staff are incredible. Not only are they extremely professional and educated, they are compassionate and caring people. In many situations, they are able to give you options as far as what may or may not fit into your budget for your pet, and go above and beyond in a tough emotional situation involving a pet. Their office is clean, welcoming, and runs efficiently. We often board our dog at Animal Health Center when we are out of town and Dexter and his crew are awesome. It is comforting to know our animals are in great loving hands while we are away. If you are looking for a Veterinarian, I strongly suggest and highly recommend Dr. Tad Moseley and his crew at Animal Health Center in Valdosta.

Our experience was excellent. Very knowledgeable and efficient staff. There is no question that everyone cares about your pet and you. I would recommend this clinic to any pet owner. Update 2/14 -- My best friend died last year after 13 wonderful years together. The doctor and staff were kind, gentle and understanding. They did everything possible to make his last year and his ending less painful for both of us. Highly competent, caring, above and beyond any other veterinary practice I have known. I wish I could find a "people" medical practice in this area of this excellence.

We have taken our animals to Dr. Richards for over twenty years now, and as soon as I adopted my dog, I knew that this would be his vet. The office staff is always very kind and helpful, and the doctors very knowledgeable. My dog can be difficult to handle, but both Dr. Richards and Dr. Mosley have been very kind and patient with him, as well as with all of my questions, and they make sure to supply Yoshi with enough cheese to make him semi-happy. Overall, a great place to trust with the care of your furkids!
