Had a terrible experience with boarding our dogs here. One of the staff was extremely rude several times to our younger dog - stating "oh no, not YOU again!!". Never a real issue with their care until this AM, when we picked them up after just 2 days there. Our younger dogs legs were soaked with urine, she had feces and mud in her fur. She is normally very thin but we had gotten her to put on some weight. She came home with her ribs showing and had lost 4 pounds over the weekend. Both dogs had ticks on them. We are mortified!!! A phone call to the staff got us nowhere. I will never take my animals there again.

I dont know who said the staff were courteous!! I went in there and the office manager was down right rude and unfriendly!! The other staff might be, but didnt say a word while the office mgr took over. This is the 2nd time I have experienced rudeness from that one. If the hospital is a good one, services are good and within budget, they need to get rid of her and get someone a little more friendly!! Maybe they have enough business they do not care. I will not take my pets there, I will definitely go somewhere else!!!!!!!!

Would never take our animals there again. The entire staff is rude and the vets so eager to perform surgery they killed our cat (who should have been on antibiotics prior to surgery- as we found out later is the standard procedure for his absessed tooth). Dont know how one place have so many rude and strange people. On the plus side the groomer Kelly is amazing- but the owner of the grooming facility is as rude and nasty as the others. Kelly is the only bright spot in this dismal place!

Fantastic care for our dogs and cats for almost 2 full years now!! I have had all the routine stuff like nail trims and immunizations for all... Plus more tricky stuff like my dogs ear and eye surgeries. Theyve helped my cats eyes clear up. Soon theyre even going to clean my other cats teeth and pull one thats broken off. Theyve taken GREAT care of our animals!! The prices are reasonable, too. Thanks Kootenai Animal Hospital. We will gladly keep coming back!!

I took my bulldog there a while back for a bladder issue. the doctor told me she had something wrong with her Eye and gave me something to put into her eye and her Eye got worse then it actually was. so now its gonna cost me more to have the eye fix then it would have cost just not touching. Now she my even loose her Eye I will never go back to this vet because they dont know what theyre doing.

Ive taken my pets here for 5 years. Im in a bind financially and they said I can pay for the exam $54 dollars with the $60 I have to my name. Tell me whats wrong with an estimate then I can decide what to do. Im like, wow! I wont have money to pay today so Im supposed to just "know" whats wrong and not be able to help my pet? Not super happy....

Always slow getting in and out there despite appointment times being made well in advance. They got our prescription wrong twice then tried to explain how it would be better when the change would cost 4 times more before acquiescing and fixing the prescription.
